I know that many use syringes to top up the fluid in the forks but have never seen them become part of the bike. Have you tried a online search. Sorry I cannot help you but if anyone does figure out how to make an engine out of soup cans can they let me know as it would have to make racing a whole lot cheaper.

Q:I am personally opposed to cheapass drum brakes on motorcycles. I am considering buying a first motorcycle (although I have been driving a mid-sized scooter for about 6 years) and while my first choice is the Honda Hornet 250 (I‘m in Asia, so availability and parts are much better than in North America), I am seriously considering the Honda Rebel as well.I have no problem with doing a conversion, but I would greatly prefer to do it simply since it‘s likely that the swap will need to be done a few times due to regulations on buying/selling vehicles.Is there a compatible swingarm that I can get to do a simple swap?
If you want a bike with a rear disk then buy one with a rear disk. The cost of doing mods is not worth the expense. The rear brake on a bike does the least work and a rear drum is fine in many cases. My W650 Kawasaki has a rear drum and if I was looking to improve the bikes braking performance I would look at increasing the power of the front brake not the rear.

Q:After my Honda VT750 1998 fell down while riding, it started making noise somewhere around the front wheel; noise like two hard pieces are scratching each other. At the beginning the noise happened only when the front brake was applied, but now it happens when riding. I also feel weak knocking on the front brake lever. The pace of the knocking becomes faster as the speed of the bike slower. The brake disc was hot after a ride in which I used the brake.What is the problem and solutions? I'd appreciate answers not like take it to a shop. Thank you.
Well, if you fell off, you likely bent the rotor, and now its dragging on the caliper. You could have bent the caliper mounting bracket as well...but more likely to have bent the rotor (if I recall, the caliper bolts directly onto the lower fork tube...so kinda hard to bend that...) Might be the piston sticking in the caliper as well...but Im really thinking its a bent rotor. Solution? Replace the bent rotor with a straight one. Check out eBay for used rotors so you dont have to pay ridiculous OEM prices.
Q:Hi - I am 18 years old - and never rode a motorcycle before in my life (I have a car). I recently bought a Ninja 250. I signed up for the Motorcycle Basic Riding Course in 4 weeks. Until then, the motorcycle is just going to sit in the garage. Anyways, my question is will the Course tell me how to ride a bike, or do I have to experiment with my bike and learn by myself?
I did the course and it is two nights of indoor class and two 6-hour days of riding on a parking lot. So Yes they will teach you how to ride a motorcycle and it is on their bikes. You will need a helmet, gloves, etc. Be careful though, keep in mind that the primary thing is to stay in one piece and pass the exam at the end of the second day. I hope you can ride a bicycle, because at my class one of the teachers said that the only person they had to send home for consistently falling over was someone who had never ridden a bicycle. Good luck with the class and happy riding ! PS Meanwhile, read the manual for your bike to familiarize yourself with it, join the ninja forum, read the MSF course handbook, etc.
