Q:In sims bustin out people are always saying in order to get married you need a love rug. I look at everything in buy/build mode. Do you have to unlock? Can someone please tell me where to find the love rug?: You do not need to buy a rug in order to get married. There is a bear skin rug in buy mode / decorative that you can relax on and make-out. To get married in Bust Out mode, you just need to be in good relationship and in love with someone from the Tootie or Frootie household. Then you can just ask them to marry you. If they are hungry, need to pee, etc. they may refuse. If you are in Freeplay mode, 2 adult sims already in the same household cannot get married, but you can ask sims in a different house to marry you if there are 3 or fewer sims in the household already. Freeplay has a 4 sims per house limit.

Also, I don;t know if I should really pull the old carpet up or not, since I have no experiment in this. please answer, thanks in advance: Placing one carpet over the top of another carpet allows the top carpet to move around when you walk on it, and wears the top carpet out quickly. The original carpet could be attached to the floor with carpet tack strips, glue or staples. If tack strips were used, it will be a quick change you can do yourself. If it was glued or stapled, you will have to pull it up and remove the staples. Mobile homes come with the carpet stapled to the floor, sometimes before the walls are built and the walls set on the carpet. If this is the case, you will need to take a utility razor knife and cut around the edges of the wall to pull the carpet up. If you have tack board around the edge of the room, you can reuse it. If you don't have tack board, you will have to instal it before you can instal new carpet. It is easy to do, after removing the old carpet, just go around the room with the tack board and nail it to the floor about 1/2 inch from the wall. Next lay new padding and staple it to the floor. Again, don't try to reuse the old padding, it will wear out the new carpet quickly. Attach the carpet over the tack strip on one side of the room by laying the carpet on the tack strip and then pushing down on the carpet with the head of a flat metal object. Once you have one side attached, stretch the carpet to the opposite side of the room and attach the carpet to the tack board. Then do one side and then the other side. If you are going to seam the carpets together where they meet in a door way, do that prior to attaching that side of the carpet to the tack board. Easy to do, just time consuming. You can purchase a carpet stretcher for around $20 at Harbor Freight Stores. You can get a utility razor knife for around $1. It comes with 3 spare blades, and when your blades get dull, it is cheaper to buy a new knife with 3 blades, than to purchase replacement blades.

Q:There are differences b/t carpet pythons, so please don't answer unless you know your JUNGLES. How old do you think my new 12-inch JUNGLE carpet python is? Thanks!: I have been breeding jungle carpets for at least a few years, and they hatch at 16 inches in length. You may be measuring wrong, or you don't have a true jungle carpet. Jungle carpets are often crossed with other carpet pythons, such as coastal carpets and Irian Jaya carpets, as well as diamond pythons. Most jungle carpets hatch from March to August, and I'm sure yours hatched in that time frame. Nonetheless, it sounds awfully small for a jungle carpet and should be fed fuzzy mice every 7 days.

Q:spill candle wax on my carpet and wont come off...: You don't say if it's sitting on top or whether it melted the carpet? If it's still sitting on top, get some ice and after everything is really cold, use a butter knife and scrape it up. You should be able to vacuum get most of the big bits that way, then, using lots of paper towel and a warm iron, blot straight down with the iron until you see the wax melting into the paper towel. It will take a while but the wax will eventually be soaked up by the paper. If it was coloured wax it may leave some colour behind, there's a product called Winning Colours that will take up the rest of the colour. If it melted the carpet you've got bigger problems.... you may not be able to fix.

Would you reccommend the hardwood laminate flooring or a better quality carpet?: there is no such thing as hardwood laminate flooring! Laminate flooring is NOT hardwood. . . its basically a picture of wood,glued and sealed onto compressed board. I made the aweful mistake of putting it in my home, and the problem is. . . its scratches and chips easily (with a 18 month old baby and a 75lb dog). Laminate flooring can NOT be refinished. . . so how to fix the problem? You deal with it. . .or you rip out the flooring where the problem is, and redo it. It's not an easy fix! We got so fed up with it that we saved up and have started installing hardwood in the house . . . b/c atleast that can be sanded and fixed. . . instead of having to redo everything. If you decide with carpet, which we kept in one room, we did a high quality burber, and choose a color that wouldnt show the dirt too much, and its 2 years old and looks alright. Good luck
