Q:please tell me and same question except for 6 pin cause i have one of each
If you buy a high-end video card, it may need an auxiliary power cable plugged into it. It's easy to forget these if you're not accustomed to needing one. The auxiliary cable is probably going to be a 6-pin PCI-Express power cable, possibly a pair of them, and the latest video cards may even use a brand-new 8-pin design.
Q:Things to think about: -valley has steep sides -the slopes are rain forest or small villages -no roads built in the area -the cable towers are 5000 ft apart at some points, but others only 3000 ft -the towers are 15000 ft above the floor, others only 500 ft*activities must not create significant noise*Cables are not allowed to sag below 120 its for my technical report for civil engineering technology....any ideas will help even the craziest ones..thankss soo much
Like ships at sea transferring supplies: start with a thin line shot across, the thin line ties to a heavier one, and finally to the actual heavy weight (power cable in your case). Or how about a helicopter pull.
Q:hi i need some extra help in looking for a power cable for my pioneer kuro tv cable iv looked in OKorder and on pioneer and no joy does anyone have any ideas where i could get one please any help will be gratefully received thank you
It should be one of a couple standard styles. Electronics stores should have them.
Q:i cant seem to find a place to put my power cable to the inner part of the car.i dont seem to find a decent place to drill a hole to or the firewall i think its what itscalled, im using a buick regal 1992.... i was thinking of putting it through the door, is that safe?is it done sometimes or not recommended at all?
Pull the carpet up in the front passenger cabin and you should see a plastic grommet somewhere low along the firewall that you can slip it through. That is where your factory wiring is run into the car but you can usually find enough room to slip one more in.
Q:Are they the same because apple gives yuo the cable but you can buy the power adapter
the power adapter is so you can charge it off of a regular outlet rather than having to have a computer handy to charge it through the usb port. i recommend getting the power adapter, i have it and its good
Q:Honda Accord Executive on a 56' reg car.Fitting help much appreciated.
Probably not easy but if ya find the hole in the firewall underneath ya dash somewhere than just poke it through there and run it underneath ya carpet. After that u'll just be able to find ya way into the boot with no problem. I like running the power cable down the centre of the car but that can sometimes be more of a hassle than its worth, so along the side of ur seat is cool.
Q:types of computer cables and where they are being used?
For communication between devices in the computer, such as the hard drive and the motherboard, either IDE or SATA cables are used. For power, Its either a 3 or 4-pin power connector, though some things have two pins (like fan connections to the mother board). Also, the SATA devices use SATA power cables.
Q:Okay so I'm production manager for a play in Oxford and I need to have a giant cardboard box drop from the ceiling triggered by an actor with a remote control on stage.I've found a rather nice electromagnet which should do the job which is triggered by a 9V battery. The trigger is an IR unit I'm building which finishes with a relay. The question is can I use a sound XLR cable as the wires in my circuit between the battery with the IR unit and the electromagnet?i.e.Electromagnet -----XLR-----gt; battery -------XLR-----gt; IR unitStandard XLR's do have 3 cables in and surely I only need 2 to complete the circuit. The only reason I'm thinking about using XLRs is that I'm not sure of the distance between things yet and I have plenty of XLRs in many different lengths.Any ideas?
Yes, you can use your XLR cables and plugs and connectors for a low power 9VDC application. Before you start doing all this, just make sure how many ohms your electromagnet coil has. If it is below 20 ohms, then you can not use a small 9V battery - you need a larger, more powerful battery, such as a stack of 6 AA cells that would easily deliver 1 A or more.
Q:Today I was using my pc, it was running awfully slow so I restarted and it kept flashing quot;Power cable has not been attached to your video cardquot;. So I turned it off and flicked the master switch on the back of the pc and sure enough it turned on. But it was all low resolution and said no ati driver is installed. I reinstalled all the ATI files and drivers and restarted and the same error message came up. I then flicked the switch on the back and it booted up. I have also checked the Hardware manager and it says for the Graphics card quot; Can not start (error 10)quot;. So what I think is that the pSU is not supplying enough power to the graphics card, so the pc switches to iGP, I have a funny fealing it's the PSU, not the GPU...
Assuming you've checked that the power cable to your GPU is still attached? And/or tried different 6-pin plugs into your GPU? If you've tried that and it still does the same, it is likely to be the power supply failing. Only way to rule it out is to try another device, such as GPU, which requires the 6-pin power addition from the PSU - if that works then it's your GPU, if it doesn't work then your original diagnosis was most likely correct.
Q:I bought one on OKorder and thought it was just a regular outlet power extension but it's not.. what is it used for? 10 points
so okorder /
