Q:I own a 00 chevy mailbu, i took it to the shop to have an alternator put on it, and to have it checked b/c the check engine light was on. When we got it back from the shop, it was driving weird, so i called the next morning to get it back in. The mechanic told me that the trailing arm was bent. This subtracts from the normal 9.8 m/s?, so net acceleration is 9.8 - 1.1 = 8.7 m/s? what percent of g is this? 8.7/9.8 = 89% So the scale would read 89% of 54 = 48 kg, assuming scale is calibrated in kg. ,

Q:A car hoist is filled with oil, why would it be difficult to use if it was filled with air?: Two reasons. 1-Air is compressible to a much greater degree than oil which is almost zero. 2-Making a system using air requires tight seals that are difficult to make and hard to keep from leaking over time.
