Q:I just got a xbox 360 pro and I am wondering is the batteries that came with it are rechargeable? Thanks.
You really should invest in a battery pack for the 360, trust me I spent a fortune on batteries when i first got my 360 and its not cost effective. Basicly you have two main options for a rechargable battery. The charge and play comes with a rechargable battery and to charge it you simply plug it into your 360. It is nice because you can simply plug it in overnight when your batterys are low and it will charge even with the system off. If you need some juice while playing it basicly is like using a wireless controller. Your other option is the charging station. It also comes with a rechargable battery and the station can charge up to 2 batteries at once. The downside is that if you run out of juice while playing there is no way to charge and keep playing. The best way to do it is to get 2 batteries, keep one on the station at all times so you can just swap when you need a fresh battery. The charge and play is more cost effective and convient but if you can afford both having 2 batteries with the station runs smoother but costs more.
Q:Camera i use is a Panasonic DMC-FS3 with a 3.6V 1000mAh battery pack
As long as both batteries fit the camera, the answer is likely yes although 3rd party batteries are typically of lesser quality even though they might appear to have a higher mAh rating. For all practical purposes 3.7v is the same as a 3.6v battery. 1150 vs. 1000 isn't likely to be any real difference.
Q:I would like to run this motor intermittently using a portable drill-type rechargeable battery pack, maybe lithium-ion. How long could I expect it to function with say a 30 percent on/70 percent off duty cycle before it drains the battery?
It has been my observation that cells used for building battery packs for things like cordless drills all seem to have about 2000-3000 mAH capacities. Of course the size and number of cells in a 12 volt (nominal) pack will vary with the chemistry. Your motor draws a fraction of the current that a drill motor under load would use. At a 30% duty cycle, your motor would average .09 amps or 90 mA. You could reasonably expect about 20 hours of use from a fully charged battery in good condition without fully depleting it. Don
Q:I have a 8.2v battery pack (supposed to be 7.2v but its always around 8.5 when charged) that runs a circuit. The circuit has motors in it that turn on and off. I have a wireless cmos camera that taps into the same battery pack, the camera needs 8v. The unit works fine until the motors turn on then the camera shuts off for the duration of the motors being on. I had a similar problem before but it was downstream in the circuit after a voltage regulator, I stuck a large capacitor after the voltage regulator and it solved this problem. I tried putting a capacitor on the camera and it didnt seem to help much. Do I need a voltage regulator and a larger battery pack to do this or is there another way ? I'm thinking its not so much the current that is the problem but the reduction in voltage coming from the battery under heavy load, but I might be wrong. thanks !
Try a coil to oppose voltage drop in the circuit.
Q:I have a lipo rc helicopter that runs off of a lipo 2 cell 7.4 volt battery i was wondering, since the battery overheated and is no use anymore, can i run the helitcopter off of a usb battery pack? with the equivelant of 6/7 volts?
Most likely no, due to insufficient capacity. What caused it to overheat? Using the wrong charger, or an electrical fault.
Q:Currently im using a Dell Inspiron 1150 but I am planning on getting a new computer. Probably an HP DV5T. I'm looking to get an external power pack to add 5+ hours of battery life

Q:here are the two links that will help you
The plane clearly states that it requires a 1000mAh 9.6v battery pack. It does not describe what type of battery connector is used, so you are going to be taking a chance any way you go. The batteries they list as 'customers also bought' are 7.4v packs, and 7.4v will not work well with this plane at all. Contact the seller. Here is their contact page: rc-hobbies .uk/contact_us.p Find out which batter is the right spare battery. That way, there will be no guess work. Good luck!
Q:Here are links to pictures of my Worx Battery (18V 1.7Ah) and its accompanying charger unit. The battery is for the Worx 10-inch 18V Cordless Grass Trimmer
You could do what a lot of radio control guys do and build yourself a simple bulb dis-charger. I don't know where you can find bulbs that can handle 18 volts. I would think most automotive bulbs would burn out @ 18 volts, but it doesn't hurt to try. You need to remember that the bulbs will get hot. I have seen way better examples of a bulb dis-charger, but this will get you started.
Q:I bought a pack of 4 Duracell rechargeable batteries with the charger for my camera and I plugged it in yesterday this time to charge all 4.It is almost 24 hours past and the red light is still on.My camera doesn't show me if the battery is charged all the way or not, it just indicates when its about to die so I don't know if the batteries are fully charged properly.Anyone know why I still get a red light and the batteries that came with it are 1700mAh and the are AA type off batteries.regards
it could have grimy battery contacts. hit upon a chew of positive sand paper and sparkling all the battery contacts. If this won't get the charger to eliminate darkness from, there may well be an inner undesirable connection that may not be person serviceable. Me, i might take it aside and verify out the little circuit board for undesirable or broken connections and areas that may not be making suitable connection. using a soldering iron and good rosin middle solder will look after those subject concerns. a foul connection may well be placed by way of searching for loose areas and wires. If a ingredient is loose, you will notice a small ring around the conductor of reported ingredient on the solder pad. The section (or twine) could be good, and there could be adequate solder to make an outstanding electric powered connection for existence. in case you do not desire to bypass this a techniques, sorry, yet you may evaluate changing reported unit. i'm hoping i exchange into of a few help here. I desire you and yours properly. happy vacations.
Q:I just bought the rechargeable battery pack for the xbox 360 wireless controllers.(only one, not with charger). Once i inserted it into two of my wireless controllers, it never turned on.Does the battery pack need to be charged even though i just bought it?points to whoever has the solution
For any rechargeable batter, you must charge it before using it. This is because rechargeable batteries have a sort of memory in them. That's why you also have to wear rechargeable batteries all the way before you charge them to get the most out of them.
