Q:How to charge a flash capacitor bank?
A DC power supply that can deliver about 290 volts (NOT over 300 volts) will do that. A series power resistor based on the current output of the supply will limit the peak charging current to a safe value. For example, a voltage doubler from the 120 VAC line will deliver 330 volts DC. If you can find a transformer with a 200 volt 1 amp secondary, that will produce about 280 VDC. A 100 ohm power resistor in series will limit the current to 3 amps. Peak power in the resistor would be 1000 watts. Resistors in this capacity are very expensive. I'd try 3 120 volt 200 watt light bulbs in series instead. Under that setup, charge time will be: time constant is 100x10x0.16 160 seconds, and several time constants will get you charged up. EDIT, I'm taking your word on the caps size, and the above calculations reflect that. But I think they are actually 160µF, not 160mF. The latter would be much too large to fit in a cameral. Capacitor manufacturers tend to use m when they mean µ for some reason lost in history. In that case, the series resistor need only be a 500 ohm 50 watt unit and the charge time will be a few seconds. .
Q:Can a bank take your income tax check that you deposited into another account?
The person the cheque is made out to must sign the cheque, and then write 'pay to the order of _______ (your name)' on the back. You must then sign it. But almost always, they, the bank, needs to be able to verify that the cheque is signed by the original payee. Unless the original payee has an account at the same branch, or you have their ID, or the bank knows both you and the original payee, you will probably be out of luck. The world is a lot less trusting place than it was 20 - 25 years ago. Fraud is always the culprit.
Q:Which of the following was not one of the powers granted to the Federal Reserve when it was created in 1913?
C. The federal budget is prepared by Congress. Whoever is president usually submits a budget for congress to discuss, but they're the ones that actually make the budget.
Q:What super power would you have?.?
Fly, heal, and be able eat a half gallon of chocolate ice cream at a single seating.
Q:distribution of political power in america?
Unfortunately, it is distributed among a very small group of wealthy individuals who are primarily concerned with protecting corporate interests above all else.
Q:What is a good, cheap, reliable power supply?
Corsair, okorder
Q:more horse power for cummings?
try a bully dog or a banks powers systembut good louck getting anything out of a 12valve cummins(its cummins by the way not cummings)
Q:Power of Attorney - Capacity?
Capacity is what you are allowing or authorizing the person as power of attorney to do on your behalf. Personally, I would not give power of attorney over my Bank Account and I would have a Contingency in place to revoke power of attorney at anytime and at your discretion.
Q:Why were Andrew Jackson and Thomas Jefferson so against a National Bank?
Before President Jackson took office, there was a National Bank, which was a private bank in which the government owned 20% of the shares, that was chartered every 20 years. This bank was responsible for setting interest rates and coining money. Jefferson was opposed to a National chartered bank, because he thought it gave too much power to one company, and that each state should be responsible for their own banking. He was also afraid that foreign investment would become too much, and could potentially leave the U.S. open for a hostile takeover. Jackson also shared this view, along with Jefferson’s disdain for paper currency. When he came into office, he refused to charter the National Bank, which forced banking to be in the hands of the states. It was during this period that banking was decentralized, and such banking giants as JP Morgan came about. This was the way of banking until 1913 when Wilson created the FED. Ron Paul also believes that we should not have a centralized banking system, and that each state should be in charge of their own banking. The FED allows the Government to print and borrow funds from whoever and whenever they please, with little restrictions. Paul believes that this process is, if it hasn’t already, bankrupting our Country, and could end up being the demise of the U.S. So the difference is that the FED is owned and controlled 100% by the Federal Government, and the National Banks were 80% privately owned, with only 20% owned by the Federal Government.
