- floor tiles? or wall tiles? if floor then any color would go with white...but green would specially look nice. dull dark green. for wall tiles...go for a light color..either white or a light color in contrast with the floor tiles.
- Q:Having done some work in the bathroom we would like to reuse some of the tiles we took of which arent broken, does anybody have any suggestions as to how we remove the adhesive and grout so that they can be reused?

- Q:We had glass tile installed in our kitchen and it looks wavy. Our installer said it was an optical illusion which I disagree with. I noticed it as it was being installed and that he did not use spacers. Wouldn‘t that have allowed the tiles to move before they were grouted?
- ok,first element you want to do is end moist washing the floor ! Unfortunatly each and every so often the more advantageous you moist wash it the more advantageous powdery residue you'll receive. you should have washed it initially with a Grout Haze remover . Now, in all truthfully the most acceptable you may do is DRY wash it with a terry fabric towel or similar,and vacuum up the dusty residue. you should do this some times and dont be afraid to furnish it a touch elbow grease both. non-stop moist washing will basically agrivate the area. Oh and PLEASE....i urge of you..dont ever use PLEDGE on your ceramic tile. no longer except you want to break your neck walking on it afterwards. Ceramic tile could in no way be sealed or waxed. you could seal your grout,and seal your marble and or different stone tiles. yet no longer ceramic. wish you discover this files functional and robust success Bellzie :)

- Start doing the largest area and do a 1/2 tile on the out side wall. All interior walls are supposed to be layed out to the out side and be square. Now if you have a long visible hall way near by, you may want to split that to get a good look at it from there. Its hard to positively say with out seeing it. I could visualize it then. Since this is a diagonal you cant control to much where the tiles land. If it were a straight lay, you d have a bit more control as to the layout. - I know you had enough schooling to use a calculator. if not a pencil and division.. Size of tiles matter. They do not sell half a tile so you got to go with a whole one and then cut it to size. So lay some tiles out dry on the floor with the proper grout spacing and count them up when you get a foot worth.(or two feet on a flat floor) as maybe by the time you get to 13 or 11 it is only one tile extra you got to figure with.. Basically the tiles go to a wall and if there is extra that is cut off and put on the next wall(like the tiles were bent) so it looks continuous.. Or just use your calculator and multiply 13 and 11(this sounds like you are only doing the floor?) and add 10% more tiles as a just in case thing and you will get the same batch color of all the tiles. Chances are you can return the unused ones for a full refund. Ask the sales people about that while you are buying them.
- Q:My husband and I are building a small rectangular pool and want to add some mosaic tile designs on the floor of the pool. Is there a good website that explains how this should be done or can anyone share some advice on pool bottom tile work? Is this going to be easy to do or something to leave to the professionals?
- Best to have the bottom of the pool smooth concrete because some things will grow in small lines or cracks of tile. Use tile as a ring at the water level or above it. Ask around there is a reason that pool bottoms are smooth.
