Q:I have the palm centro and it came with the USB cord and i currently don't have internet access so the only other way to get ringtones would be through the data cable but i don't know how to do this could someone please help me?
I okorder
Q:I got a Samsung SGH-A127 GoPhone and I want to put my own ringtones and graphics on it. I got a Data Cable and a CD with the proper driver-files to connect the phone to my PC but for some reason it will not work. I am using Samsung PC Studio 3 to do this and it will not find my phone when I connect it to the PC.One of the messages I get when trying to connect is One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and Windows dose not recognize it.I thought it might just be in the cable so I got another one -- same problem. Can anyone PLEASE help me with this?
Do you have a memory card on the phone? if so than re-format it and than remove the driver from your PC and than Just connect the phone to the PC using the USB cable and the phone will be detected as a mass storage device and will be listed as a Removeable Disk in my computer after that just browse the phone and copy the songs / tones to the MUSIC folder. If the folder isn't there than create one!
Q:I just got a new samsung D900 ,im trying to put songs on it and it just comes up the connection wizzard thing , i do everything it says then it says connect your phone now , this may take a few minutes , now its up to 300secs and it has been further before but I took it out and put it back in , It doesn't work !!Why do you think !?!?PLEASE HELP Usss O ] !!FANKS ;)
You should never remove hardware like that without using the proper method. The phone might have to be re-formatted. Try uninstalling the program, re-installing it using install wizard.
Q:I have a new DVD drive, and when I went to install it, realized that I have a 4-pin CD_IN slot, and the S-ATA data cable that came with the drive is 7 pin on both ends. Does anyone know if I can buy an adapter, and if so, where? I've looked around a couple of places, but with no results.
The 4-pin CD_IN connector is for connecting to your sound card in order to use the drive as a traditional CD player (rarely used nowadays because digital playback has taken its place). The drive's main function will be intact through using just the SATA connection (connected from your drive directly to the motherboard). In other words, there is no such thing as a 4-pin CD_IN to 7-pin SATA adapter, as they are different things entirely. Connect the drive to your motherboard with the SATA cable, and attach a power connector to it as well. If your PSU does not have a SATA-specific power connector, you will need to buy an adapter.
Q:i know how to transfer data from ex. hdds, flash drives, cds and/or other media devices, but just to let you know im not interested transferring from these common devices i have listed aboveI am mostly and only asking about what type of cables i can use.I actually want to know out of 3 cables which is usb 2.0, firewire, and esata which is both the same connector to transfer data from one pc to another pc when connected to both pc's usb or esata or firewire same port.my question is, which would be compatible and faster and would be work perfectly?also, will both pc's recognize it right away?one thing is i tried to connect a firewire to my laptop and another laptop to test the speed but there was not no sign of the computers being connected or probably i dont know how to do it.i heard most people can do it through usb 2.0 but i want to know if esata will work to because i want and need something that will transfer data fast. and i heard that esata transfer data like 3.0gb/s.thanks in advanced.
Yes you need as many SATA cables as hard drives. Power for the HDDR's comes from the power supply. Yes you disk drive requires power from the power supply. I think for the GFX card you are taking about a 6 pin PCIe connector again power supply.
Q:i have the nokia 6275i and my charger broke but i have a data cable for it will it charge
If the end of the data cable that goes into the phone has the same end as the wall charger, it should charge!
Q:I have a laptop that is an '02 model (I think) but it is running Windows xp SP-3 just like my desktop. I have a crossover ethernet cable (it's black and it isn't the normal size; it's the smaller size heads). Anyways, I was wondering how I could transfer a file (well more like a program) through the cable because I don't have anything big enough to hold 3GB of stuff. Also, is there a way to connect to the internet through this cable? Oh and don't say Get a wireless router because I have one.
Are you sure you have a crossover Ethernet cable? Check to make sure its not a phone cable. Attach one end of it to your desktop, and the other end to your laptop. You can use Windows Easy Transfer, or just transfer the files using Network. Make the files you want to transfer Public so that the other PC can see it, then start transferring. If it really is a crossover Ethernet cable, just plug it into the wireless router, and the other end to the PC you want connected to the internet.
Q:can we pass the data like picture, videos under water without using cable?
Sound. A sound can be just as digital as electronics. It'll just be extremely slow. Whales do it.
Q:how much the usb data cable for motorola (l6i), but how to do the process after buying that, say elaborately please, i have bluetooth facility so what to do? is better to buy cable or bluetooth device for transfering pictures?
there are a couple of problems with transfering from computer to mobile phones one being that some of the pic files will be to big (byte wise) to display on the screen so you will need to do some playing with the pics to get them to fit on your phone. like crop and down size. as for the actual transfering i would recomend a wireless bluetooth device which usually retails for 40-50 bucks and come with an installation cd and are very simple to use. easy as falling of a log. hope this helps
Q:can you sync stuff on your phone without a data cable? or do you need one? and what type of data cable do you need for the palm treo 700wx for verizon? thanks so very much
My husband has a palm treo 700. He synchs it with a bluetooth connection. It's the one with the palm OS and we have a mac.
