Q:I recently bought a 2003 Honda Civic Hybrid, but it came with no owners‘ manual, so I have some questions:1) The Auto-Stop feature on the car does not work at all times. I know that it does not come on if you are driving slower than 10 mph, but in some instances, I have been driving over 10 mph, come to a stop, and the Auto-Stop does not engage. Can anyone help me with this.2) By the radio/dash, there is an ECON button - what does this do, and how do I use it?Any help would be appreciated!!!

Q:I have a 2000 honda accord ex and the check engine light is on, i took it to advanced auto and they couldnt find the code but a few days later i took it back because it was still on on they said something about a o2 sensor or circuit then a couple days later i took it to the dealer i bout it from and they couldnt find the code what should i do cuz i have to take the car in for emissions
Don't know but some times when the gas cap is not tight the pressure is not right in the tank and causes that light to come on.
Q:My 2000 Toyota Celica GT has a check engine light on it. I took it to an auto parts store and had it scanned. It gave me the following codes:P0300 - Random Misfire DetectedP0302 - Cylinder 2 Misfire DetectedP0171 - System Too Lean (Bank 1)I put fuel injector cleaner in it today, as well as cleaned the MAF sensor. Sometimes when I‘m accelerating , the check engine light flashes then go back to staying on. I‘ve checked all over for vacuum leaks and cannot find a thing. I‘ve noticed a little oil on top of the engine, but I‘m not sure if this is the problem. It idles at around 1500RPM when I start it then it drops down to 500-700RPM. If I turn my lights on the fuel gauge and clock dim. The A/C and defrost make a god awful noise when I turn it on (I‘m guessing the clutch on the compressor is bad).
Yes, the rubber gets harder and the tire contracts and leaks around the rim can start. The pressure will drop a couple psi from the cold but without a leak it won't get near flat.
Q:I checked the manual and that‘s what it says, it was hard for me to understand exactly what the problem is. I filled my gas tank up to over 1/2 a tank and it‘s good, all the oil levels are fine.I did drive on a dirt road a day before I saw this light pop up. How can I take this light off if everything seems to be fine?
You need to have the code read with a scan tool to find the exact problem your car is having, there are different sensors for the emissions system. You might just have a bad oxygen sensor.
Q:what can expert systems be good for??
An expert system is software designed to replace a human expert in a particular field. One common example would be medical diagnostic software that takes a patient's symptoms and lists possible causes and treatments for those symptoms. Another would be the software used by a customer service rep to walk you through repairing your computer over the phone. In both cases they don't know everything but will handle the majority of the problems you bring to them.
Q:For MIG and Flux core welding, do you need a differently rated shade. We have a # 10, and don‘t know how to tell when we could need a darker shade like a 12 for example. Somewhere we read about looking at a bare light bulb to see if you can see the outline of it as an indicator of needing a darker shade. We are just learning about welding and would like to know when an auto darkening system is better and how to pick a good one.thanks
Light enough to see the puddle and the path to weld. I use a 9 for all welding. Most people use a 10 to 12. You do not need a different shade for different types of welding.
Q:Tang Jun car headlights do not shine other things are so bright
Check the light bulb is not burned, there is no problem with the insurance relay
Q:Car headlights far and near light switch why power
Check the next line, the main look at the ride did not have a good ride
Q:My "Service Engine Soon" light has been on and off for a couple weeks. I really don't know squat about cars and have always just taken them to get their oil changed and all that. What could be wrong?
Take the vehicle to an auto parts store and get the codes read...write them down and repost!
Q:I just bought a used motorcycle and there are two extra front lights added onto it. The switch that turns these lights on is broken. What is the name of this type of switch so that I can find a replacement? It‘s just a tiny little switch on the left-hand mirror. It‘s been added on, it‘s not an original part of the motorcycle.
Sounds like an aftermarket automotive fog light switch. You could probably find a replacement at any auto parts store, but before you hook the new switch up again, you should trace the wiring to make sure the system is wired correctly. If it's not, it could cause more problems somewhere down the road.
