i watched a video on youtube about how to ride a motrcycle. Ive never riden a motorcycle but i am soon with my cousin. i just wanna have a sense of what to do to get riding. so now i know that to start it make sure ur in neutral. start it up. press on clutch and shift into 1st and slowly let go the clutch with some throttle. and on to 2nd gear and onto3rd and so on. but im not sure how to stop. I saw how you Downshift. but what if im driving in the street and i all of a sudden have to stop imediatly? i was guessing if your at like 4th gear. just let go of the gas. press on the throttle, and brake, and while ur breaking u can just press the gear all the way up to 1st, and keep the clutch reving so the bike wount stall. while ur at a complete stop at like a red light. Am i right? The guy in the video just forgot to show how to stop. he said that u could accually stop the motorcycle by downshifting but he never showed how to just stop.
Well you shouldnt need to keep revving if the bike is running right, and you should probly practice alot before you get in traffic. Downshifting is better for slowing down than jsut stopping, but you have to be careful that you dont go too low on the gears compared to the engine rpm. If you do you can lock up the rear wheel and lose control. What kind of bike are you going to be riding and where? You should use both brakes just dont put too much pressure on the front one. If you do let off and reapply slowly. Really think you should practice somewhere out of harms way before you get to ocarried away riding out in traffic. In fat a license is required to even make that legal. Inkjax has it right, get on a dirtbike out in the open and practice and dont get yourself into some mess you cant handle.
I would like to know the motorcycle at high speed (110-200) speed should be how to brake? I am a lot of Mo friends say before the brake Can not use rear brake But in practice I feel the front brake is very dangerous. Coupled with high speed, then I really do not know what the consequences of the front brake. Especially when you encounter an emergency situation with the front brake. The I can not imagine. The Please understand the friends to explain the high-speed brakes and high-speed emergency measures to meet the brakes. The Thank you
Step on the rear brake `` `
they are promax mechanical disc brakes they are new so they cant be worn out if i hit the level fast all the way the back tire lifts up about 2 inches then it goes back down and it takes a while to stop so i think they are making to much heat what can i do?
switch the brake system, promax is too basic and is very bad and weak, go for shimano deore 535 hydraulic brakes and you will not be sorry
So i‘ve been riding for about a year, and I‘ve put about 2K miles down, so I‘m very comfortable with riding. Now my girlfriend is about 5‘4 and about 100 pounds at mostI ride a 1994 Yamaha FZR streetfighter, stage 2 jet, mods etc.Now her area is full of blind and very sharp turns where i actually have to turn, backup and turn to complete it, like they are at a 140 degree turn. Now I‘m a little nervous, because she dosent have insurance.AND my dick roomate keeps saying how difficult it is.I would LOVE tips, concerns, and ideas on this question. How difficult is riding with a passenger? How much harder is turning going to be? Shes riddin on the back of other bikes, so shes not to nervous but I‘ve never given a ride before.Any help is great help, Thanks!
There's more to riding a motorcycle than a bike. Your sense of balance, speed, gear shifting and rules of the road/safety all contribute to your safety. Both offer fun and a sense of freedom.
Will the truck and the motorcycle after the traffic accident, when the vehicle detection motorcycle side brake system failed, which in the accident when the certificate will be affected
First of all to confirm your motorcycle accident, is not no trial. If there is no legal procedures, after the accident does not give you a check. Does not affect the results

When I speed up on my motorcycle (40km/h) the whole bike likes to shake and rattle. Why?5. Yamaha R1, CBR1000RR or Ninja 10X-R?6. How do you do leans on a motorcycle? (Like they do in MotoGP) does the tire and road matter?7. Is it okay to do a full lean on a street? Or on sandy roads?8. How to do wheelies with a small cc bike? (150cc)That‘s all, See if you can answer them all :)And thanks to the people who did, these are the questions I ask most
As long as it still holds it self in park it's alright.
i have been wanting to learn for a while now but i can only find one place and they wanna charge me $325 for classes! i dont know anyone who has a motorcycle so is there another other option? also, what do i need to get my motorcycle license (or whatever its called)
Nobody can really teach you how to ride a motorcycle. You learn on your own, by riding. The MSF course is a good idea because they teach you some good safety habits, but you don't learn to ride in a weekend. After the MSF course you go out on your own to learn to ride. That's why you get a learner's permit. But it's not that hard that you need lessons. Get a used bike, get a learner's permit, and ride around slowly in a quiet residential neighborhood until you get the controls memorized, until you don't have to take a split second to remember which is the brake.
