Im a wimp for pain and im looking to get my scaffolding done. i want to know how painful it isI already have both lobs pierced and stretched to an 8mm, will the pain be similar to that?

Depends on your pain tolerance, it's different for everyone. But generally cartilage piercings feel nothing like getting piercings stretched.

Im thinking of getting a scaffold piercing when i am old enough to and ive seen videos of people who have one but it cause bacteria in their ear and if they take it out their ears swell. I want to know if this is a bad piercing to get. Also i have had an allergic reaction to an earring before and im not sure what type of earring it was. Can that affect it as well.

Getting piercings is not that dangerous except that a lot of normal people will think that you are a weirdo

I'm reading the novel by nathaniel hawthorne. There seems to be a lot going on in the scaffold scenes that i kind of not understand. Can someone explain the significance of these scenes? Well either way, the scaffold means embarrassment, it's like having to wear the A but being more upfront with people so you don't really have to explain yourself, everyone just knows. That's the reason, i forget his name, the priest that's pearl's father, goes up to the scaffold, because no one knows he secretly wears the A that's why going on the scaffold allows him to free himself of guilt, he wanted everyone to know so he would stop living in hidden pain but when pearl and her mother come, it makes it too real for him, he kind of wakes up, you could say, so he becomes too frightened and decides not to carry out his plan.

On Wednesday day I'm planning to get this done (the top piercing). I've been thinking about it for a while now really want it.What problems can I have with this piercing?How long does it take to heal ect?Thanks =)

i've not had scaffolding but i've got a wide range of cartilage piercings and they take about 12weeks to heal... i would just say be careful not to catch it and keep it clean. good luck :)
