1 water pump frequency converter constant pressure water supply wiring diagram
This is a Fuji inverter, water pressure sensor, if it is remote pressure gauge, connect 11, 12, 13 ends, if the pressure transmitter 11 and C1 end
If you use a water pump to move water through a circular trench, essentially making a little river, and then place some kind of turbine or water wheel or something to generate electricity from the moving water, couldn't you use the electricity generated by the turbine to power the pump, thus requiring no outside power?
All the energy that you can get from the stream you have created will always be less than the one you are using to drive the pump that feeds the stream. In engineering field you must get into your brain that Perpetual. motion machines just does not exist. you can use it to understant thermodynamics processes when using in simulated problems but it is only ideal situations.

well u first losen the bolt, remove that stuff, and put another water pump on =?
I have a 1990 GMC K1500 Sierra and about 1 week ago I went to check the anti-freeze level. I noticed it was a tiny bit down. So I look down at the lower radiator hose and it had a slow drip. So the next day I changed the anti-freeze, New thermostat, and a New lower radiator hose. So I thought it was fine but yesterday I went to go check the anti-freeze and the level was down. I look at the lower radiator hose and it has a slow drip again. The hose I replace was Brand New. Could this be a water pump? I did notice a tiny bit of anti-freeze on the water pump. Or what could this be or do I have to change the hose again?
It depends a lot on the engine in the car, and knowing the year would really help. $600 is outrageously expensive for the 2.2L engine and outrageously cheap for the 2.4L engine. You can replace your own on the 2.2, with a little help from somebody experienced. I definitely don't recommend trying water pump replacement on the 2.4L engine! No timing belt on either. If the leak is slow enough you can carry conventional antifreeze and purified water (no tap water!) and refill every morning and every afternoon. When you are adding more than a quart of the combined liquids (either premix or manually use half of each) you will have to come up with an alternate plan. As thebax says, stop leak won't work on a water pump.
my water pump went bad on my 1997 chevy cavalier, causing it to leak all the coolant it had in the system. i put water in it til i could get new water pump. changed out water pump. attempted getting air out of system. put more concentrated coolant in system than i did water. bad guessing on my part. ran car around block 5 times. it was fine. this morning on the way to work, it started overheating again. my thoughts : more air in system that's not coming out? thermostat REALLY went bad at same time as water pump???? overheating all because of a little too much coolant??? for some crazy reason, my system needs to be suddenly flushed? Your thoughts? one last thing, the car has always ran perfectly normal temp til water pump went bad.
When was the last time the system been drained flushed and *cleaned? A 14 year old radiator and heater core will be loaded with corrosion and rust. Prestone Super Radiator Cleaner can be used on mildly dirty cooling systems. *Follow the instructions on the back side of the Prestone Super Radiator Cleaner. The instructions are totally different than the quick, worthless rinse cleaners. GM makes a one part powered acid cleaner that works better on really dirty cooling systems. When in doubt change the AC-Delco thermostat with another one from a Chevrolet dealer. Flushing is easy when you splice-in a Prestone or Peak flushing T in the heater hose *return hose from the heater-core. Any trusted private mechanic or Chevrolet dealer can do a *cooling system pressure test to see if you have any external or internal coolant leaks. Never exceed a 50/50 mixture of DexCool antifreeze and distilled water. If someone has been mixing brand X antifreeze with the factory installed DexCool in your cooling system the coolant will turn to mud and plug-up the cooling tubes in the radiator core and mat the cooling passages in the engine. The secret of perfect heat-transfer in a cooling system is clean cooling passages, a new AC-Delco thermostat and radiator pressure cap. Remove and clean the plastic coolant recovery bottle with Wisk, hot water and a round household scrub brush. If you exceed a 50/50 water and DexCool mixture, it will not adsorb heat from the engine as efficiently or get rid of the heat in the radiator as well as a perfect 50/50 mixture. Always buy 100% DexCool Antifreeze and fill 1/2 the total capacity of an empty clean cooling system first with 100% DexCool then fill the remaining space with distilled water.
I have a 1998 ford taurus. It started to over heat so i turned on the heater full blast and it didn't get hot. so i put antifreeze in it and i turned it on and it seemed ok but it started to over heat again and the tank for the antifreeze looked like the cap was going to pop off. I was just down the road from my house so i thought if i drove slow i could make it home and it turned on ok but when i put it in drive it stalled. Does this mean its the water pump??????
Its over heating because either your thermostat is messed up, bad water pump, head gasket, bad radiator.... but sense it was empty on fluid you could have a possible leak in the hoses or a head gasket or your water pump is leaking engine coolant. for head gasket check if theirs water in your oil ( take off the engine oil cap and see if theirs a white foam on it) if their is then your head gasket is screwed, to check if your water pump is working start the car after it has been sitting for a long time so its cold, touch the black hose thats ontop going into the radiator ( usually the biggest one you can see) and squeeze it while the car is running, if you feel water moving then your water pump is ok, you might have to wait a while for the car to get hot a little to check....cant think of anything else right now as im sleepy.
my friend has a 2008 Buick Lucerne V8 model. She said its over heating, and steaming from under the hood. the engine is also knocking. Could this be a water pump issue or something else?
What ever it was it has the engine knocking. Its a little too late to wonder now. Sounds like it lost water and then kept running until she ruined the engine.
I have a 2000 Ford Focus with 82k miles on it. The car is leaking coolant intermittently. The radiator was replaced about 3 yrs ago. The car doesn't overheat but when I turn it off I can hear a boiling sound and it smells like something is burning. It's not a strong smell but it's there. The car also idles rough and downright shakes at times. Also, and I know this sounds crazy, when I'm driving it I hear a sort of whooshing noise that sounds like water. Could this be the water pump or something more serious? I'm taking it to the mechanic tomorrow but would like an idea as to what could be wrong.
There are airpockets in the cooling system. You hear gurgling in the heater core as water, steam and air bubble through it. What a mess and it's only a 2000. If you have the water pump checked for leaking, that could be where the coolant is escaping. If the car overheated, this situation could be more serious than just having to replace coolant. Some damage may have come from when you had to replace the radiator. You might have a warped or cracked cylinder head. There are several things to do to try and dfiagnose how bad this problem is. One it to bleed the cooling system of air and watch to make sure coolant loss has ceased. Another is to use an emission probe at the opening of the radiator to see if combustion products are getting into the cooling system. The water pump shouldn't be leaking already, but the quality of the part could be questionable and it might indeed be leaking and need replacing. A good shop can do all this, but it takes time and the cost can build up with the seriousness of the situation. Budget for up to $2000, but repairs might only cost a few hundred, depending on what's wrong.
