theres an elevator in our house that we're renting but its broken and the landlord won't fix it.so are we allowed to get someone like a mechanic to fix it?

If you are going to pay for it and the landlord approves He would still have to pay for the yearly inspections, so may be unwilling to make it operational There may also be some insurance issues if it is operational that he would need to raise your rent to cover.

There are still alot of variables involved but depending on how well the different parts mesh and how good your tuning skills are I would estimate 400 HPOther setups I have seen with that cam have made anywhere from 350 to 500 HP but the high end engines were built by serious racing engine shops and tested with multiple combinations of parts on a dyno before they got them perfect.
