Q:Question says it all.
Yes that is good the bigger your power cable the better. If it is bigger it will cause less resistance and energy will flow much more freely and this will mean your music will sound much clearer i personally run 1 guage to all my amps.
Q:my tv is mounted on the wall, and my friend came round and we tryed to plug in his ps3 and we knocked the main power plug from the tv.we have fiddled about for around an hour looking for wer it came from and need help before my mam gets back!
Ignoring all the upfront on-line research I undertook, I made 8 separate visits to the showrooms of the 'usual suspects' in UK electrical retail I was so torn between the sony panasonic 42 offerings!! As a brands snob I wanted the Sony because I wanted a sony on my wall.. But every time I viewed the TV's in various store environments I kept getting drawn back to the simplicity if the panasonic's operation, the depth of tone / image on screen vs. the sony. After much consideration I went for the panasonic as (for me) it's a better TV to watch TV on!.. Technically the sony has a faster refresh rate plus slightly more advanced image 'in-fill' technology and technically it should therefore give a
Q:I only see the power supply (with a cable to connect to the laptop), but I don't see the AC cable. In the specs it only says quot;Cables Included: 1x Power cable - 3 ft.quot;I want to know if it includes the whole charger, or just the power supply to connect to laptop.
The cable from psu to laptop is not removable so the 1x power cable included is the removable AC cable.
Q:I just have the power cable for battery, lost the ground cable.. Can I cut from power cable and use for ground? Are they the same thing or different cables.??
the only difference is the plastic coating (the color)- as long as you don't mix up the pos and neg at the amp you are fine
Q:So here is the power supply, motherboard and graphics card I have.Power Supply: ATX-TL500W-BK Motherboard: GA-78-LMT-S2 Graphics Card: GV-N960XTREME-4gd As you can see the mother board is a (pcie 2.0), and my graphics card is 3.0 with a 6pin and 8pin slot on the side for It's power cables. My previous graphics card didn't need any cables to run to it, so I don't know what I need for going from the 3.0 to the 2.0, and I don't know where the power cables for the card connect to.Any help is very appreciated.
You have a big enough PSU--400W recommended, you have 500W available. The cables from the card go to the PSU. If you don't have the right one(s) then buy adapters. Contact card maker for those if you didn't get any in box or search Google.
Q:i have a cable modem that i lost the power cord to. i found another that fits but the output listed on the adapter is 12.5vdc. the modem lists +12vdc. can I use them together? i plugged it in and it lit up for a while but then went out but I don't really know how the modem is supposed to work if there's no internet connected to it.
first! are you sure the modem needs 12 V DC and not 12 V AC? Mine uses AC. OK, you can use a 12.5V in a 12V modem - the extra .5V is not a problem... Next, make sure the polarity is correct!! center pin is the correct polarity? If not, POOF! You will let the smoke out. Have you considered that the modem is bad and the power supply is not the problem here. If the modem is bad, you may have killed the supply you plugged in.
Q:can i cut my computer Power Supply cables/USB and HDD cable to add an extension myself? They're all short.
Power supply cables - no problem. USB cable, make sure you use the same style of cable. HDD cable, you can buy longer ones, this is a better option than trying to extend the one you have. There are some signal issues if you try to extend the cable.
Q:i have a 97 chevy malibu and i need to know where to run the power cable through the fire wall. or where could i get a diagram that is simple enough for me to understand...
As mentioned you should be able to find a hole already but I like to drill my own and keep all of my electronics separate from the other factory wires. It should not hurt anything to run them with the other wires but you could get some induced current plus it makes it easy to keep track of all your stuff in case you would need to take it out. 2 things to keep in mind no matter where you go through though 1 make sure you have a bushing in the hole to protect the wire and 2 be sure to run your ground beside your power wire, dont separate them too far.
Q:My mom gave me a rice cooker but it didn't come with a power cable. Can anyone identify this plug type and let me know where I can purchase a new cable?
i hav seen this types of cables, but i don't know the name it .................do i thing since u hav the pic, print the pic show it to shop keepers they will provides u with exact 1s with guaranty
Q:Sometimes I have to jiggle the chord or plug it in the right position to get the laptop to be charged. At first, I thought it was the power cable, but after buying a new one, I still have the same problem. Any suggestions as to what causes this and how to fix it?
Pulling on the cable will cause the jack to become deformed, and cause poor connections. You will have to replace the jack. On some laptops, it is an internal plug in module that is easy to replace, on others it is soldered to the motherboard, a much more expensive repair....
