Q:help!! new wool rug driving me crazy! how do i stop these fibers going everywhere?
Other than cleaning it as suggested, you could also use one of those roll type lint brushes to get excess off it but I'm sure it will take a few tries!
Q:my toddler just threw up all over my new sisal rug...?
My only suggestion - make your husband responsible for this problem immediately, and walk away. You did not want the rug for just this reason, and any move for you to take responsibility means you buy into the idea that this was an appropriate purchase. Stick to your guns, call him or text him and let him know his fabulous rug has experienced just the thing you knew would happen, and just drop it in his lap. The minute he brought it into the house, he took responsibility for whatever happened next- so don't do it for him. At all. This isn't just about the rug, of course- it's about power and who makes the decisions. If he wants to make them, it's up to him to do whatever it takes to follow through. Not your job, and it wasn't a joint decision made with your input. Call him, let him know he has a problem, and walk away. Not one paper towel- I'm not kidding. Or you will own the #$% rug and the blame for the spot your cleaning efforts make.
Q:What are the types of Persian rugs?
i'm persian and living in iran but i'm not a rug seller and cant help u more
Q:best spray carpet cleaner?
The Hoover is a reasonably priced carpet cleaner that does a good job with light to medium soiled carpet. The Rug Doctor Mighty Pro is the same exact machine that you'd rent from the grocery store. Of the two, the Rug Doctor is the better carpet cleaner. It is faster, works better. Rug Doctor cleaning solutions are also the best quality solutions I've used.
Q:what rugs should a TB living out have?
I would definitely say that Weatherbeeta are the best brand for affordable but comfortable and hard wearing rugs. I've had my weatherbeeta rugs for two years and only had them washed, not reproofed even though one of my horses is a rug wrecker. I have a TB myself and I know how much of a pain it is to rug them! They are very prone to chills and don't really grow an incredibly fluffy coat. Here in scotland its already reached only 4 degrees at night and my hands are frozen, and plus the wind chill makes it a very cold night. My boys are both in mediumweights without necks at the moment at night and lightweights during the day. However this is also because they are getting clipped next week and I want to prepare them for that and not let them get too soft beforehand! For my TB I have this wardrobe - 1 x Lightweight (Mark Todd brand - very good durable, I would say the best out there) 2 x Mediumweight with and without a neck (both Weatherbeeta) 2 x Heavyweight with and without a neck (Mark Todd and Rambo - very good but very expensive brand) The two of the mediumweight / heavyweights mean that in the midst of winter when it gets absolutely FREEZING I can double rug, putting a mediumweight over a heavyweight or vice versa. I also have stable rugs but that depends on whether you are stabling them or not.
Q:What do I need to put a carpet down?
carpet,tackstrip,padding, okorder.com good luck!
Q:Steam or Vacuum carpet cleaner, which type of cleaner is good.?
after you done , put a small space heater in ,the heat will help dry it faster.
Q:How to clean the carpet stained with wax oil?
Cover it with absorbent paper, then use hair dryer, use carpet cleaner after the wax oil is absorbed clean, if the wax oil is too much, repeatly use oil absorbent paper.
Q:will area rugs hurt my hard wood floor finish?
you need to pad it for comfort and durabilty. if you do not the rug can sweat or stratch the new hardwood finish. also clean regularly to keep filth from building up around the edges.
Q:steam mop and carpet?
I don't own one, but they appear to be designed for hard flooring such as tile and linoleum. There's only a cloth at the bottom where the steam passes through. I think you'd really be struggling trying to use one on carpet. A better alternative would be a carpet cleaner, Bissell and Hoover are both good brands. Expect to pay $150-300 and up. But for a budget, I love the Little Green Machine by Bissell which is much smaller. Don't try to clean an entire carpeted area with it or you'll be exhausted! But it's great for cleaning upholstery and for picking up spills on carpet, and doesn't take up a lot of storage space. Costs around $100 and you can get it at WalMart and many other retailers. Then if you need to do your whole carpet, you can rent an extractor for around $25 (check with your local supermarket, they probably rent Rug Doctor, etc.). You can get the job done in a day and not have a bulky machine taking up valuable closet space the rest of the year.
