Q:Which finger do you press the space bar with?
Hello; Back in the pre-computer age I learned to type. We were taught to use the thumb to press the space bar. At the time it didn't matter which thumb ... About a year ago I was shopping for a used keyboard. I found a couple of old Compaq heavy metal keyboards for a buck apiece, I thought they were Identical until I looked more closely. One of them had a split space bar ... if the right bar was pressed it made an ordinary space; the left bar was a destructive backspace. So all of the sudden it made a huge difference which thumb I used. Thanks for the question. Bill (Nulfinator on YouTube)
Q:Twelve printing presses, all alike, can do a job in 3 hours. How many hours would it take 10 of these printing?
2.5 hours
Q:why do I get lower back pain after doing press ups?
press ups require to hold you back rigid. Do more sit ups to strengthen your back and abs
Q:What should my max bech pressing weight be?
This is a question that only you can answer. Only you know your capabilities, and if anybody demands more than you are capable of, you need to tell them to go fly a kite. Clint Eastwood put it succinclty: A good man always knows his limitations. This doesn't mean that you should sell yourself short either. You should constantly strive to overcome your own limitiations, but there is a limit to everything, including how much your maximum bench press should be. Just try to improve your maximum bench press weight gradually, adding a few pounds from time to time. You don't mention what position you are playing for the football team, but that is important. If you are an interior lineman, you should be stronger than a wide receiver or a defensive back. The latter positions stress running speed and agility more than strength. Set realistic goals for yourself and try to reach them. Your next goal should be 150 pounds with the same number of repetitions. Keep adjusting your weight lifting goals upward, but keep in mind that you need to stretch those muscles too, or you will be prone to muscle strains, the most common sports injuries. I have included a link below to a yoga site which will help with this. Don't forget that rest and recuperation are very important too. Work your upper body on alternating days, and the lower body in between. I wish you a great football season, both individually and collectively.
Q:bench press advice?????????
sometimes improvements take time. For me usually it took a course of a year since i always went in the summers. a few summers ago i was struggling with 135 and last summer i was struggling with 155 and this summer i was doing 185. When i return to the gym this summer im pretty confident ill get at least 200 lbs. Just have some patience because it usually takes time for results to occur. That is probably a max for you at that weight and if does increase it probably won't be by a large number. Just try gaining a few more pounds and then turning that into muscle
Q:concerning reloading presses do you prefer ones that primes on or off the press?
Hello! Whether you re-prime your cartridge cases on, or off, the press, really depends on you. When I reload handgun ammunition on my Dillon, I let the press reprime the ammo for me, because handgun ammo, whether for plinking, target, or hunting, does not need to be seated by nad for the precision I would be looking for with a rifle. Now, reloading rifle ammo for competition is a completely different story! Because I am looking for group consistency at distance with a warming barrel, and seeking groups as close to sub-minute of angle, I need precision and set my benchrest primers by hand ... I can feel how the primer is seated and whether it is getting crushed. By doing it this way, I have been able to produce really accurate ammuniton. When you are loading hunting ammunition, you do not really need the precision consistency (yes, you do need precision ... but you are shooting maybe a single shot from a cold barrel ... in competition you may be shooting 10 to 30 back-to-back shots with a barrel that is either warming up or hot, which WILL affect bullet placement). I never reload watching the TV ... too many BAD things can happen, and a bad cartidge (one with a bad primer or a squib load [no powder or insufficient powder]) can damage a very expensive target barrel! It is better to concentrate on what you are doing, when you are doing it! Hence, priming on or off the press is totally dependent upon you and what upi seek to do with your ammo, and what you expect your ammo to do under specific conditions! Good luck and good shooting!
Q:Has anyone done squats or leg presses?
I've done both. Squats work your butt more than leg presses and they do make it bigger (rounder) but not wider. The girls I know who do squats have great butts. Lunges are great for your butt too. The size you add is muscle so it looks very sculpted. If you want a smaller butt, you have to do more cardio to burn the fat. I used to squat 315 for sets of 10 but I had to cut back the weight because my knees were getting sore.
Q:How much should i be bench pressing?
Your age and height have nothing to do with it. Lifting isn't about hitting a number, it is about continually getting stronger - raising your personal best over time. Why do you care about the bench press? The squat and dead lift are more important in terms of measuring strength.
Q:What can I press to make my keyboard work again?
Try ALT ~
Q:What's the difference b/t this Panini Press and a George Foreman Grill?
The teeth on a panini maker tend to be much smaller and finer. I believe it should also burn at a higher temperature, since you're not interested in cooking the food all the way through, only crisping it.
