Bill is correct. Doing it part time is going to be difficult. Here's why: 1. There's licensing costs. They vary state to state but could run up a few thousand dollars. 2. There's monthly fees to your brokerage, real estate board, and NAR (National Association of Realtors) if you choose to join 3. There's costs for running business: advertising, business cards, cell phone bill, computer, gas, car insurance, etc 4. If you're buying real estate, would you expect your agent to work at YOUR beck and call? Obviously. So if you can't provide service when THEY need it, are you really doing your job? Not really. I'm not saying you're a slave, but you need to be accessible. No client wants to hear sorry I didn't get back to you for 7 hours, I was doing my other job. In that period of time, you could have had an offer expire on you, or something could have happened like you missed a multiple offer situation etc. If you're good at real estate and you have a lot of clients who are currently looking to buy and sell, then YES that's wonderful and you could potentially make LOTS of money. But the industry is a marathon, not a sprint. Don't expect to get rich in months or even 1-2 years. It's about building a reputation and working hard at it. If you're not 100% committed, your clients will sense that. It's fine to keep it to make a deal with the occasional friend or family member, but other than that it won't generate a lot of income.

Q:Do I need a bachelors degree for real estate?
Depends on your state's regulations but, in all likelihood, you do not need a bachelor's degree.
Q:what are the benefits of having a real estate associate license?
You do not need a real estate license to invest. You need a passing mark of 80% to get the license. The course is not cheap and monthly expenses as an agent are very high. Do some research.
Q:Proper way of finding an office at a real estate agency...?
Even if you have no written rental agreement, you are still obligated to pay rent because of the default in the law. There's a whole section devoted to tenant/landlord issues that has default rules if there's no written agreement in place. Unless you want to be evicted, just pay rent and don't worry about not having a rental agreement.
Q:Question about Real Estate Agents?
In cases of dual agency the listing agent becomes your agent and the office broker becomes the sellers agent during any disputes. If you have not granted the listing agent the right to represent you as a dual agent you can get an agent of your choice to step in. I would recommend using an agent familiar with commercial real estate. For your loan you will need a business plan and other extra items that an average agent wont be of much help with. No agent that represents a party in a transaction should ever just tell a client to figure it out for yourself that statement alone is grounds for replacement of the agent. It is in the best interest of her and her clients that this deal closes. Leaving you hanging like that is counter-productive and affects all parties. The price has no bearing on your right to effective representation. Perhaps a legal attorney should become your agent in fact.
Q:real estate question what is your opinion?
It is always good to have the real estate education but remember this, if you take the licensing test you are restricted in some ways regarding real estate rules. In this market unless you have a basket full of built in customers, getting started will be very difficult. Good Luck!
