So just keep it in mind that chargers are not as tough as hey appear, and you should be very careful with them, make sure it's not pulled so that an internal wire doesn't break, and make sure the end that goes into the laptop is no bent because that causes he fuse to break too.

Yes, you do need a new charger, but it should be okay to continue to use it as long as the sounds aren't there. I had the same thing happen to me and i used the charger anyway and my computer is fine.

- Q:I keep having to use my friends' chargers and they quit working after a month or so. Same goes for all the replacement chargers I buy online.
