Q:We just bought a ranch style home in florida, it has a tan tile, more like shingle roof. I want to update the look, it is an old house, the colors it has now gray with black trim all over make the house look depressing and dingy. I haven't seen too many ranch style homes with a tan roof, so I'm just wondering what colors would go best? It also has a stucco surface, and there is a black iron fence with red brick that goes all around the house. It's out in a country like area, so I want to stay true to it's roots.
This Site Might Help You. RE: What colors would you paint the exterior of a ranch style home with a tan roof? We just bought a ranch style home in florida, it has a tan tile, more like shingle roof. Q:Starts with the letter D, first word is ten letters, second word is eight letter. Ugh, I hate projects like this. I seriously can't figure this thing out!
Draculean dangers= is the only thing I can come up with (garden and danger are anagrams) Dracula is a vampire, but Draculean only 9 letters, and gardens only 7 - I tried :0) Dangerous draculas? (9 8 letters getting closer...)
Q:You are designing a new tile floor for a customer who is adding a room to her home. The room will be square and the customer wants a design set in the middle of the room that is also a square. The customer has not yet determined the size of the room, but knows the design square must be 3 feet by 3 feet. Therefore, you must use a variable to represent the measurement of the room. As part of your presentation to the customer, you need to include the cost of the new floor. The tile for the room is $4.00 per square foot and the tile for the square inset is $5.00 per square foot. For now, you are not including the cost of labor.
You need a pen and paper. Draw a diagram and put in the measurements. Now do the math.

Q:Hello. I'm interested in starting my own garden at home. I'm planning to plant strawberries, tomatoes, blueberries, watermelon, and grapes. I've chosen a plot of land, but I don't know exactly how to start a garden. The plot of land is riddled with weeds, soil seems to be poor, a bit sandy. What can I do to make it suitable for gardening? I'm an absolute beginner.
My suggestion for first timers can be a no-dig backyard. you are able to take care of to discover some thing in this by a glance for engine. in reality you construct up layers of soil, manure and organic and organic count number, and plant your seedlings into the great layer of soil, by ability of a layer of mulch.
Q:I need some home decor advice. I will be purchasing a light grey sofa with a glossy black wood coffee table and I will be purchasing a rug to place underneath. Since I want to keep my rug neutral, what advice would you recommend as in the patterns, what color will it look best with my sofa and table? Thanks!
Since your sofa set is already a one with the neutral color you either change one of the two from the rug or the sofa set. Generally a good idea is to have a sofa set with the one with a neutral color and then the rug follows. With the grey sofa set, black rug with a good soft texture will look good. If not black, try going for off white, lime green or light brown. These colors are neutral as you would prefer it and they go pretty good with the grey color of your sofa set. Q:Local nurseries are in business to sell stuff. Every garden question I have always come with some product they have to sell. I call it my $20 answer. The people at answers have been great. Thank you. Unfortunatly what does well for you in New York or Denver isn't much help to me where I live down here by the Mexican boarder in California. I am in need of answers that will help in my back yard. Answers without a price tag. Any suggestions? Thanks to all you wonderful gardeners where ever you live!

Q:Although chipmunks are cute and fun to watch, they can be very destructive with their underground tunnels. My neighbor's brick paver patio is caving in because of this. My garden is full of holes because they like digging out my tulip bulbs. They gnaw on them a bit and then leave them in the sun to die. Is there something I can put on the bulbs when I plant them so that the chipmunks will leave them alone? Is there something I can put in my garden that will keep the chipmunks out? My neighbor has tried several things without success including baby powder with cayene pepper. The chipmunks are also destructive if they get trapped. Last year, one got trapped in my garage and damaged the weather stripping on the bottom of the door in an attempt to get out. Is there anything that I can put down that won't harm them but will keep them away?
