Q:Give me names of magazines like for home interior, home lifestyle, etc...?
i like real simple magazine..
Q:can i buy water lettuce at home depot store or a garden store?
most likely a garden store. i don't think home depot sells aquatic plants
Q:Soil Test Kit for Contaminates - Home Garden?
I can only speak from experience which is slightly old now that I'm retired.......The tests for contaminants is contaminate specific, that is you must specify what contaminant you are looking for and then the appropriate test is made.......at a very high cost......$150 a pop back then. We could not do a broad screen contaminate test.....we had to have an idea first. I'd suggest you have a typical soil test done by a Laboratory and include micro nutrients such as iron, etc. Contact your Cooperative Extension agent in your county to learn about the soil test process, how to properly gather the soil and how to package and of course, how much $ to include. The agent can also help decide if the soil might have been contaminated. A simple test for herbicides is to gather some soil into two pots. In one grow lawn grass or corn and in the other grow beans. Certain herbicides work on either a monocot or dicot type plant. For example if you can't grow the bean but can grow the corn you know the soil has residual herbicide for dicots.
Q:differences in greenhouse (florist's) flowers and garden (home gardeners) flowers.?
I once had a job that involved, in part, developing new cut flowers for the florist trade. The specifications were that the plant needed to have flower stems that could be cut 3 feet long; that the flowers could be shipped without dying in the process; and that the flowers should last at least 3 weeks in a vase. Ideally flowering of the plant could be controlled so that flowers could be produced at any time of year, in a variety of climates, that the plant would be resistant to insects and diseases that could damage the flowers, and would be available in an assortment of colors. If you were developing flowers for home gardeners, your selection criteria would be somewhat different. You would also want insect and disease resistance, but your emphasis would be much more for variety of colors, and fragrances, compact growth, flowering in one season, and things like tolerance of different soil types, drought tolerance, etc.. Things like long stems, shipping tolerance, and long vase life would not be nearly as important for a home gardener, as they would be for a florist. On the other hand, most home gardeners would want a variety of flowers, not just dozens of red roses for valentines day. A rose by any other name smells as sweet (probably not an exact quote from Shakespeare), but the flowers a florist uses have a different purpose than flowers a home gardener uses. I hope this helps.
Q:where can i find and watch the episode of better homes and gardens?
There will be two differant ways to find it. There is a place where you can go to previous shows and episodes. Or you can type in your question to them, and search. Good Luck! I've done it several times.
Q:Now that I have picked my tomatoes from my home garden, do I pull the plants or leave them?
Tomato plants should keep on producing in smaller amounts until the cold weather comes. Make sure you keep watering. if you have lots of trusses of flowers, cut most of them off. leaving only 2 or 3. This will be less stress on the plant and you may get a good second crop.
Q:Has Home Interiors gone out of business?

Q:is 23 scarecrows enough to keep all the birds and animals from eating out home garden ?
I certainly have tried almost each thing customary to mankind to maintain the critters out of my backyard. ultimately, I gave up and larger the size of my backyard so there is adequate for the two them and me. the only critter I nonetheless combat with is the deer and that i've got found that Liquid Fence stinks to extreme heaven, yet while utilized on a known foundation will save the deer out of the backyard.
Q:Urban Gardening: How do you Prepare your Soil in the Suburb?
avoid carrots; they accumulate a lot of pesticides...same with melons, though you probably wont have room for them...most common garden crops, like tomatoes, beans and peppers, do an adequate job of filtering the intake of damaging chemicals..
Q:Gardening in Las Vegas......?
You can have a garden in most environments, it just depends on the plants, you may find you might have to have things like ornamental grasses and cacti, things like these thrive on the hot weather, but also you might want to do some research on plants and find ones which don't require much watering, this not only makes it easier for you but also it lowers your water bill, meaning an easy, affordable and maintainable garden!
