Q:im gettin a 2007 monte carlo ss and it has a v8 but front wheel drive so i was think i should juss get the o4 ss and juss roll with the v6 and front wheel drive
Better traction in inclement weather.
Q:How the alloy wheels can be distinguished from normal wheel? What difference do alloy wheel make in terms of performance / handling / road grip? Is it worth while to make investment in alloy wheels (in terms of difference in performance)?
Normal wheels are made from a pressed-steel rim, and a pressed-steel centre disc which is welded to the rim. They are cheap, but heavy and generally unattractive, and they are prone to rust. In an impact they tend to bend, sometimes making it possible to continue driving after a serious impact (but at greater risk, so drive carefully). Alloy wheels are made from aluminium alloy, usually cast but sometimes forged. Most are made in one piece, but some can be made of three separate parts bolted together at the rim (lots of tiny bolts around the wheel rim). They are generally more attractive, lighter and less prone to rust. Cast wheels can fracture in a severe impact. The light weight can give benefits in roadholding and handling because of the reduced unsprung mass of the wheel assembly. This means the wheel needs less energy to move in response to bumps, so improving the ride and keeping the tyre in contact with the road surface for a greater time. However this benefit can be lost if the wheel is bigger than the standard, or the suspension is stiffened from standard.
Q:Are enjoi skateboard wheels any good? I want good wheels, and I love the rasta panda design they have. If not I'll probably just get bones, although I'm not the biggest fans of their designs. Thanks for the help
Flow Master makes nice sounding exhaust system. They are very popular out here in the country. You will have to ask some auto parts store.
Q:my rear wheel on my 2008 crf 450r is wobbling and one of the spokes popped out of the socket on the wheel. What do I do?! Should i put a whole new rim/wheel becuase im gonna buy a new tire for it anyway. I‘m not sure if it‘s the wheel or the swingarm that‘s wobbling. I tightened my spokes last week which stopped the wobbling. But it‘s wobbling again. And one of the spokes is out. Help me?
One spoke will not cause a wheel to wobble, i suspect a bunch of spokes got backed off and the wheel got out of balance.you have to know what you are doing to get the wheel back in balance.obviously you do not so I suggest you take it to a shop and explain your problem. A good mechanic can re-balance it by adjusting all the spokes.in the future just remember to check the spokes on an ongoing basis, then this won't happen.having said all that, there is a chance you have some sort of bearing issues too i suppose.get it checked.good luck
Q:The car is a rear wheel driveI think the front wheel force situation and the rear wheel should be consistent
Unless it is four-wheel drive ,,,
Q:does rear wheel drive vehicles like the mr2 turn with their front wheels or the back wheels?
you should be able to jack up the car by the bumper or frame and let the wheel expand the coil spring. Then the same tool used for installation is used for removal
Q:Why sometimes see the car on the road ahead, and the wheel looks in the reverse?
If you look at the wheel through the movie, because the movie is 1 second 24 frames, if the wheel happens to be 24 times per second or multiple, then you look at the small point on the static. If the wheel turn a little faster, the small point to move forward (and the wheel direction of rotation), the wheel turn a little bit later moved.
Q:My boyfriend just replaced my axle shaft on the front driver side of the car and ever since there has been strong vibrations in the wheels. I also noticed it seems as though the steering wheel bounces back and forthI had my front end aligned 2 1/2 years ago, so I am wondering if it is the tires or another alignment. Help!
ya you would just need spacers. But that would look really really stupid.
Q:We are collecting redline hotwheels for our new born son. Do the hot wheels with the shiny read around the wheels count as redlines? Will hot wheels even be valuable from the 2000s? Thank you
Definitely, if the wheels have a red line around them (as the racing cars used to), they are redlines. The early years of Hot Wheels are known as the Redline Era as until 1977 the wheels had a red line etched around the tire rim, popular on muscle cars at the time." Hot Wheels from the 2000s are not valuable now, but who knows. I bet in the 1970s they didn't think they would be valuable in 30 years either. If you're serious about collecting, buy two, one to play, one to save! NOTE: In 1993 Hot Wheels issued replica versions of their redline series. They are currently about 5 dollars each, much less expensive than the old ones: amzn.to/lcQ1v1
Q:My hamsters current wheel is horrible and he falls off it because it wobbles a good inch in each direction sideways . What are Somme good hamster wheels you would recommend.
Try a different lever. If that works, you found your problem.
