Well, front well drive cars are more for everyday drivers. They offer more control in bad conditions to the average driver. Rear wheel drive cars are more for experienced drivers who like to have a little bit of fun. Since most rear wheel drive cars have a lot of horse power, the cars are a lot easier to get sideways and drift around corners and do things like donuts. They also do not have as much traction in snow which again some people like because it is easier to do donuts and stuff.

Maybeprobably. If you're just wanting to use the front hub and throw on a different axle/freewheel then no, that's impossible. But if you want to disassemble the wheel, re-use the rim and lace it to a rear hub, then yes, you can do that. You may have to get new spokes if the new rear hub requires a different length than what was used with your front hub (same rim), but that just depends on what you get. It's a job for a skilled mechanic and if you've never done any wheel building I wouldn't suggest that you try it out this time, especially for a rear wheel. Besides, you'll probably find out that it will be much cheaper to just buy a new complete rear wheel once you add up all the costs involved.
