Q:Hi,I am looking to buy a vacuum cleaners but am unsure on which one to get? Does anyone have any good recommendations. My price range is about ?150, preferably not a Dyson; and obviously lots of suction lolI have some animal so maybe one with a animal section or something.Oh, BTW i would preferably upright. Thanks
Well, amongst folks with animals, the Dyson is the favorite. We had the supposedly top-rated (by Consumer Reports) Hoover Windtunnel upright prior to our Dyson (which Consumer Reports has no use for). There is no comparison. I have to empty the Dyson at least three times every time we vacuum our 1400 sf house. I could go a month without replacing the bag on the Hoover. Plus, Dysons don't catch fire. I've seen ads for other makes showing their models picking up ball bearings and all kinds of stuff. Next time I need to pick up hundreds of marble-sized steel ball bearings, I'll buy it.
Q:I am currently doing house cleaning and using my clients vaccums, but I am wondering if I should get my own, because they mostly have area rugs and their vacuum cleaners are just too strong, it's almost like the vacuum's are trying to eat the rugs! So I was looking at the Eureka, The Boss, and was thinking about getting that, because I just don't want to be liable for a ruined vacuum, or rug! What do you think?Would you rather have someone use your own vacuum which may be too strong, or their own which may be just right?
I would not object to the person who did my housecleaning bringing their own vacuum cleaner. I would assume that they had a good one that was more suited to a professional than my own household one.
Q:I bought one and it is still sitting in my trunk. I hate deciding on vacuum cleaners. Any advice?
its light weight and is esasy to move around. the bad thing is that it fills up right away....like me
Q:my sister has guinea pigs, and it is so hard to live sometimes because they make my eyes itch so much! so anyway.. what are those machines called they cleans the air you breathe? thank you so much!
Vacuum cleaners and air purifiers. Air filters clean the air as well, but only work with your heating/air conditioning unit. Vacuum cleaners suck up dust and dirt from floors, upholstry, curtains, etc. Air purifiers clean the air by removing airborne pollen, dirt, dander, etc. They work without the use of your heating/air conditioning unit, and are portable.
Q:In all the TV commercials advertising cleaning products such as vacuum cleaners and all-purpose cleaners they show women, never men, using them. Where is the outcry for this?
I guess because women actually purchase 90% of these types of products. Can u imagine a man discussing the functions of the latest washing machine or if a multi purpose cleaner will actually clean the windows and the stove, I don't think so. Some men MIGHT help with housework (mine does not), he wouldn't know the washer from the dryer!!! And that 's the way I like it. I suppose we are old fashioned but we believe in the saying a womens' place is in the home. We have a sort of understanding, I don't mess with his welding and tinkering and he doesn't mess with my housework.
Q:I have a 1933 hoover 800. It needs the bearings greased really badly. And I have no idea how to do it.
since it is antique i would suggest that you try to find a good service center to take it to to be fixed.
Q:Hi I'm wondering if this vacuum cleaner with a hose.
You type well for being blind. The hose is between the canister and floor wand. That is not an elephant trunk in the picture. Yes, the hose comes off, just like all vacuum cleaners. You also posted in the auto repair category.
Q:need a new vacuum cleaner what is the best brand?
Although okorder which may help you
Q:I'm looking at a 'Mezzo vacuum cleaner on OKorder as my vacuum carked it. But I've never heard of Mezzo vacuums before. Does anyone know anything about this brand? Are they any good / or dodgy? Thanks
I ve a 2200W Mezzo bagged vacuum cleaner, had it for about 7 years now. It s good. Simple, straightforward but good. That s when it s new, but secondhand it could be anything....
Q:I am wanting to buy one of those self-activated quot;robotvacuum cleaners. But I need one that will have good enough suction to vacuum up a LOT of dog hair. What is the best one?
Never happen the dirt cup is way too small. You have to do it the old fashion way or hire a made!
