Q:currently I have 2 12woofers wired to a single amp with 2 gauge wiring. Will it make a noticable difference if I upgrade the wiring to 0 gauge?
you can try Rockford Fosgate web site for wire calculation. just enter your best guess.
Q:Does anyone know what color the neutral safety wire is on a 1995 suburban? The one in the ignition harness.
The yellow wire on the ignition switch harness goes to the transmission range switch (aka park/neutral safety switch) on the transmission, and then the purple wire on the transmission range switch goes to the starter solenoid.
Q:I removed my old door chime/bell a few years ago and replaced it with a wireless one. That one quit working and now I am attempting to install a new wired one again. The only problem is, when I removed my old one way back, I failed to label the existing wires to where they go. I have two wires coming out of my wall mount, one white, one brown and the both have a white and red wire sticking out of them. I am not sure which one/ones will connect to the FRONT and TRANS posts on my new chime. I don't have a rear door bell button so that is not a problem. Which wire goes to the FRONT and TRANS and do I cap off any of the 4 wires? My installation instructions don't cover the mindless mistake of not having the wires labled.
one wire is coming from the door bell and on is going to a transformer, all you have to do is make it into a series circuit, connect the two red wires together from each cable take one white wire and hook to trans on the door bell and the other to the front. if you want to check this out you need a meter set it for AC under 100v check each set of wires for 12-24v red to white at each cable the one that dosent have power is going to the button at the door while button is pushed check this wire for continuity if this all checks about than wire as i described above
Q:What exactly is a quot;Jumping Wirequot;? What are the most common methods of motor vehicle theft? Is there any other option that stealing the keys or hot-wiring it?
And add a former police officer to her list: Don't listen to Angelica, she is a cop, a vet, a former criminal, a doctor, she works at a salon (where she got best answer, scary) AP world history teacher, AP High School teacher health major, AP economics and history teacher, she has MD in world history, she works at Nordstroms, she works in human resources, and her most offensive answer, she was a preacher. She also works at Verizon.

The current speaker wire im running is 16 gauge. My question is...since im going to go down to 4 gauge power wire, should I lower the speaker wire and get 12 gauge speaker wire also? Q:What's the thickness, or measurement for the last or thickest wire?
some people have just a thin wire that's called a chain(its pretty much any colour you want elastic that stretches from one side to the other), some have a metal chain which is a lot thicker. it all depends on your teeth.
Q:i have a 00 gmc yukon and tried installing my cd deck. i pulled off the original harness from the stock deck radio and now its just all wires (its my first so i didnt know), i connect the alpine deck wires and tried to connect them all together. i had a few figure out, except a small noise coming from my stock tweeters every time i step on the pedal. then my speed odometer sensor was going with the bass of my subs... whats wrong? can someone find me a chart of what color wires supposed to go where? thanks for your help
I think you are just better off doing a factory amp bypass and there shuld be a harness you can buy that will hook from the wire behind the factory amp to your deck.
Q:Why do some vehicles have more than one starter wire at the ignition switch?
The extra wire activates the fuel pump while cranking. The run position only lets the fuel pump run if it sees signals from the cam and/or crankshaft sensors.
