Product Description:

A weld neck flange (also known as a high-hub flange and tapered hub flange

) is a type of flange. Weld Neck Flange is easy to recognize at the long tapered hub, that goes gradually over to the wall thickness from a pipe or fitting.

There are two designs. The regular type is used with pipes. The long type is unsuitable for pipes and is used in process plant. A weld neck flange consists of a circular fitting with a protruding rim around the circumference. Generally machined from a forging, these flanges are typically butt welded to a pipe. The rim has a series of drilled holes that permit the flange to be affixed to another flange with bolts.

Such flanges are suitable for use in hostile environments that have extremes of temperature, pressure or other sources of stress. The resilience of this type of flange is achieved by sharing the environmental stress with the pipe with which it is welded. This type of flange has been used successfully at pressures up to 5,000 psi.

These flanges are bored to match the inside diameter of the mating pipe or fitting so there will be no restriction of product flow. This prevents turbulence at the joint and reduces erosion. They also provide excellent stress distribution through the tapered hub and are easily radio-graphed for flaw detection.

Weld neck flange will be welded to a pipe or fitting with a single full penetration, V weld (Butt-weld).

Q:Flange jumper 10
Inflammable and explosive places is to prevent power leakage and electrostatic spark using conductive metal will better connect the two flange reliable, pipeline grounding, flange generally corrosion caused by poor contact is easy to produce sparks, in order to prevent the accident of flange jumper.
Q:PROE flat sheet metal design whole wall and the flange wall what is the difference?
Very simple. The flat wall is the front face, and the flange wall is the side.Is not to say that the sheet metal is a relatively thick iron sheet, can be divided into surface and thickness, smooth surface from the surface is positive to see the past, is Affirmative or trapezoidal, and flange wall is in the thickness direction, is folded into a L shape or Z shape.
Q:What does "welding flange" mean, and what does fillet welding mean?
1 flanges are generally used to connect two pipes or pipes and valves with disc parts.2, flange welding is the connection of flanges and pipes.3. Fillet welds: welds welded along the line of intersection of two straight or nearly straight parts, as shown in Fig.4 so you weld the flange is fillet weld.
Q:What's the price of a stack of 600 carbon steel flanges?
Flange connection or flange connection, is defined by the flange, gasket and bolt connection between the three sealing structure of the detachable connection as a combination of group pipe flange refers to the pipeline installation of piping flange, used in equipment refers to equipment import and export flange. The flange is lined with bolts to secure the two flanges. Gaskets for gaskets between flanges.
Q:What is the SO flange?
A hubbed flange (SO).Turn left and turn right |The steel pipe is inserted into the inner diameter of the flange. The part of the weld where the flange protrudes. Here is the sealing surface.Flange:(Flange) also called flanges, flanges, or flanges. A flange is a part that is connected between the pipe and the pipe, used for the connection between the ends of the pipe. It is also used for the flange on the entrance and exit of the equipment. It is used for the connection between the two devices, such as the reducer flange. Flange connection or flange joint means that the flange, the shim and the bolt are mutually connected as a group of three detachable sealing structures. Pipe flanges are flanges used for piping in pipe installations. They are used on equipment and refer to the entrance and exit flanges of the equipment. The flange is lined with bolts to secure the two flanges. Gaskets for gaskets between flanges. Sub threaded flange connection (threaded connection), flange welding flange and flange clamp. Flanges are used in pairs. Low pressure pipes can be made of wire flanges and welded flanges with pressures of more than four kilograms. Add a gasket between the two flanges and secure with bolts. Different pressure flange thickness is different, they use the bolt is also different. Water pump and valve, and in the pipe connection, these equipment parts of the equipment also made corresponding flange shape, also known as flange connection. Any connecting parts that are bolted and closed in the vicinity of the two planes are generally referred to as flanges, such as the connections of the ventilation ducts, which can be called flanges". However, this connection is only part of a device, such as flanges and pumps connected, it is not good to call the water pump flange parts". Relatively small, such as valves, can be called flanges".Reducer flange for motor and reducer connection, as well as reducer and other equipment between the connection.
Q:I would like to ask you master valve has a pair of clamp and flange connection,
To clip type, general caliber is small, pressure is not big. Flanges are suitable for large bore, and others have been answered
Q:To set the price
The cheapest is more than 100, and the most expensive is five hundred
Q:How should we get to know the flange?
For example, such as a long distance transport pipeline, it is necessary to lower the pipes into the pipeline in the pipeline, but install valve, mirror, telescopic device and so on, which can be used in welding welded it up, but after the maintenance is not split off is not? Therefore, most of the pipeline will choose flange joint, so as to facilitate future maintenance and replacement. The flanges are soldered to one end or joined together in other ways, and the two opposite flanges are secured with fasteners (bolts), which form a complete conduit. Pipes and valves, mirrors and so on are basically connected in this way.
Q:What does DN32 flange mean?
DN is nominal size 32 means 1-1/4, not internal diameter 32mm
Q:What is a flange? Where is it usually used?
About flange what is this problem, in the Internet search for a long time, only to find the answer, do not know can help? Look, you must read it after looking for such a hard job, though it's a bit boring.Flanges (Flange), also called flanges, flanges, or flanges.
