Q:Solar Panel energy 500 KW monthly?
There okorder.com/ Why pay thousands of dollars for solar energy ($27,000 average cost) when you can build your own solar panel system for just a fraction of the retail cost. You can build a single solar panel or you can build an entire array of panels to power your whole house. Some people are saving 50% on their power bill, some people are reducing their bill to nothing. But what’s most impressive is that just by following these instructions some are even making the power company pay them!
Q:solar panels on housing developments?
Wow that is a great idea! We have so many old houses around here that no one lives in and they are building houses on 2 /2 acre lots. That seems like a waste of land. There is this construction company that is building town houses with solar panel roofs and the upstairs is the bedrooms and the down stairs is the living area so that it takes a very small lot. 40 x 60 even has room for a car port and small backyard. My friend has one and he made it low cost so everyone has a chance at home ownership. They are being build where he is buying the land and tearing down old houses and puting up these town houses. Makes the town look better and cleans up otherwise bad looking neighborhoods. If they can do that here why not all over? By building up she was telling us it cost less for foundation and roofing which is the most expensive. It is 900' sq ft. 2 bdrm bath. Let's go back to the time when people didn't have to have these 6000 sq.ft houses with 5 acre lots.
Q:Solar panels and your opinion?
You ask a great question, because this should really be a financial decision, and not only an environmental one. Depending on which state you live in, the payback on a system is often in the 5 to 2 year range. The great thing about solar panels is that the fuel source is free and you don't need to speculate on your future costs. You pay for the equipment up front, and then you just enjoy the free power. Most solar panel systems last at least 30 years, so compare the cost of solar panels to paying your average electric bill 360 times. And that does not include any inflation of energy cost increase. Check out our website to learn more.
Q:What is maximum system voltage in solar panel?
Hi No i very much doubt it could produce that sort of voltage so get a voltmeter and check it. bright sunshine and dark.
Q:help setting up a solar panel system?
That okorder.com/... , but expect to pay several thousand dollars for something that actually works. If you just want to use the place for intermittent getaways, a generator may be sufficient, and you can skip the solar panels. If you intend to live in the place, then consider getting a system that is at least 500-000 watts of panels, and a 000 amp-hour or more battery bank.
Q:Which is Better: DIY Solar Panel vs commercial grade solar panel?
They can be if you are well educated and skilled in their assembly and working functionality, provided you obtain the same high quality grade cells and do proper assembly. Chances are good however that your first several may be just a little below par until you really get the hang of it and become well practiced just as the professionals are. Does take a considerable amount of grunt work however so figure if this is best use of your time or if you'd do better to earn at your regular work and pay a professional to do that which they do best.
Q:How many solar panels?
Are you going to have anything else on electric? Water heater, Stove, Refrigerator, Dishwasher, Washing machine, lights, fans, or a barn with lights and possible water heaters for winter? If so, you may need a lot more panels than that. We use 6.8 kW of panels in a place not known for sunny days, and do all right, but sometimes have to be careful if it is cloudy for many days in a row. You may be able to get by with about half of that if you live in a sunny, southern clime. Good luck - there are lots of non electric options for other (non-laptop) appliances, so you could cut back on other stuff as well.
Q:Why dont we have a gigantic solar panel system in the warm states, stretching miles across to supply the usa?
As a matter of fact these types of facilities are being built today. People are already hard at work on it. Yes solar is more expensive that conventional electricity sources, but only at first. A solar power plant has no fuel costs and so although it costs a lot more to build at first over its life time it can actually cost a lot less. That doesn't even count the costs of byproducts from conventional power plants. Most people are not aware that particulate pollution kills between 00,000 and 200,000 people in the United States every year. The majority source of particulate pollution is electrical power production, but our electrical bill does not include the costs of those deaths. If the electric utilities had to pay their fair share of those medical costs electricity produced by fossil fuels would look a lot less attractive. Some people think solar panels take more energy to build than they every collect from the sun but that is not true. A solar panel generates the energy it takes to make it in between and 2 years and after that the power it generates is basically free. Solar panels are expected to last between 30 and 50 years, so that is a lot of free power. By the way, I installed solar panels on my house. They cost me about 6000 dollars (after rebates and tax deductions) and saves me about 000 dollars every year from my electrical bill. I have a 5 bedroom house and a family of three and our electrical bill averages just $35/month. That is in California with some of the highest electrical rates in the country. So I can say that solar works. There are dozens of companies working very hard to make solar power more affordable and they are being successful. The solar industry is about 7X larger in 2006 than it was in 2000. It is one of the fastest growing industries and has sustained growth of 40% per year for the last five years. Solar power will become the largest industry on Earth, but it will take some time. It is a very encouraging development.
Q:How to mount solar panel to car.?
What mark said about shade is true, but take into account that the solar panel will absorb most of that heat. That is how they work they absorb the energy (heat) from the sun and transfer it into useable power.
Q:Question about commercial solar panels?
In my experience working with solar panels, I've found that the panels themselves are robust and can last years. How that energy is transferred from the panel to perform work (sorry for the boffinism) is where the complexity emerges, namely due to the fact solar panels produce DC current, and nearly all of our electrical appliances use AC current. In most cases, solar panels will either send energy through a DC/AC inverter directly to be used for appliances, or stored in deep cycle batteries, then converted to AC using an inverter when the user wants to use his/her appliance. Now to answer your question: the solar panels will be fine, and could conceivably be in fine working order with AC current available IF... and I cannot stress this enough (namely through years of field experience dealing with solar powered scientific instrumentation that was working well and then mysteriously not working)... IF rats and other rodents haven't eaten through the wires. This is probably the most likely reason that a set of solar panels wouldn't be working in your given scenario. Hope this helps, and good luck!!
