I've done a little bit of research, and it seems to be a thick towel that you would put underneath you to protect from bugs and the slats of the chair. - I'm trying do decide if you are serious or not... Absolutely not, this would be a horrible combination. If you want an area rug over a berber, go with a more typical low-cut persian rug or similar. It will add to the decor rather than subtract from it like a shag would do. It will also be easier to walk on if it is in a traffic area.

- dogs respond to high pitched heavier voices. use a heavy voice to yell at the dog WEN YOU SEE HIM DOING IT. you have to catch him in the act yell extremely loud and strong. put his face about an inch away from the pee before u clean it up then smack his noise a couple times then put him in his cage. keep doing it wenever he trys itll take time to train him but itll work btw to get pee outta a rug pour water on the area that got peed on and then use paper towls by prsssing them down hard on the water until it comes out. the water will take the pee out with it and get rid of the pee and the smell

- Just tear up the carpet. Maybe you will get lucky and have hardwood floors under it. You can sand and re-finish the floors if they're in bad shape. If no hardwood is under the carpet then yes, you will have to get new carpet.
