6.Conditions of use
Pumps used in the following conditions should be continuously to work properly:
1. For water pumps suitable medium, medium temperature shall not exceed + 40°C
2. The medium PH value between 6.5 ~ 8.5
3. The volume of medium containing solid impurity is less than 0.1%, the size is not more than 0.2 mm
4. The power frequency 50 hz, voltage for single-phase 220 v, 380 v, three-phase voltage fluctuation range for rating of 0.9 to 1.1 times
5. Diving depth of no more than 5 m, is not suitable for irrigation and drainage of sewage and chemicals.
- Q:Does the water pump and the circulating pump belong to the centrifugal pump?
- As long as the flow and head to meet what pump can be, the general centrifugal pump applications are more.
- Q:Iv got a 2002 Chrysler Sebring with a 2.7 in it and recently it started leaking coolant, its been determined that i need a new water pump. Iv gotten quotes from various places and various prices but there all telling me i need to replace different things. One guy said i need a timing kit, the other guy said i dont need a timing kit but need valave covers and a couple other things, another said i dont need anything but the pump itself. Im lost and the leaks getting worse and i need to make a decision but dont know what to do. Some insight from you helpful people would be great!
- Usually water pumps just go, and you can't drive the car until it is replaced. They leak horribly before too long. Just keep putting water in it, but it will leak out as fast as you put it in there. A mechanic removes the water pump and puts a new one on. Nothing else has to be replaced. Go to the mechanic who said only the pump needs to be replaced. He sounds correct - although I am sure a 2002 car may need a couple of other things done to it.

- The water pump may be leaking causing the coolant loss. But it is certainly not leaking into the engine. You may have misunderstood the mechanic's explanation of the problem. Where is the white smoke coming from? The engine compartment? Then the water pump may actually be leaking coolant into the engine compartment and onto the exhaust manifold. If the white smoke is coming out the exhaust, it's not your water pump. Car repairs are more expensive today because they are more complex and shops prey on the lack of knowledge that car owner's have about their cars. You wil be charged for the VALUE of the repair, not the actual COST (plus a reasonable profit) of repair. You'll pay about 2x-3x the retail price of the water pump than you would have paid if you bought the water pump yourself. Without that water pump, your car is junk. My daughter paid $700+ to have a $149 alternator replaced.

- I count on he didn't disassemble the engine. Clearly this failure used to be from lack of good storage tactics. Lack of use is much worse than heavy use. I seen few outboards worn out, they're neglected to death. Having said that examine out my answer to a similar question today. Yes, failure of the water pump can contribute to this failure but a unfastened spark plug would not. The water pump should be replaced once per 12 months, or now not longer than two seasons, in spite of use. They take a suite because of age, and can fail with out warning. Whilst the first mechanic has some responsibility, I think you need to take the lions share. See owners handbook on storage tactics. Sorry!!!!!!
- Q:I have a 1999 Mercury Grand Marquis vehicle. How do you know when the water pump is going. Is their any particular noise I should be hearing.
- There is no noise associated with a water pump going out that I am aware of other than the engine exploding due to excessive heat. The dash guages; especially the engine temp guage, will give you a clue as to a cooling problem, whcih is what the water pump is for. The water pump prevents the engine block from overheating. When the pump fails, the engine overheats and will either shut down, or the engine will burn out. The best way to tell is to monitor the temp guage. If the engine is running hot, it either the water pump, lack of water in the cooling system, or Thermostat failure. Best to have a mechanic check it out. Cheers!

- Pump parallel mainly solves the problem of insufficient flow. After parallel, the flow is two and the sum of the pumps. When the flow rate increases, the pressure loss of the pipeline will increase, so the water pump flow in parallel will not be the sum of the two pump flow, but less than the sum of the flow rate. The solution is to increase the diameter of the water supply pipe, reduce the angle bend and shorten the distance.........
- Q:I recently got the water pump replaced on a 99 Oldsmobile Intrigue GL (3.5L V6), and ever since the temperature gage seems to be running higher...between half way and the 3rd line, where before it was replaced it never got above the second line. - Did you replace the thermostat? flush the radiator also. If your pump is not leaking it should be good to go.

- This is your recirculating pump. If it is a marine pump, it will have a brass backed seal and no heater hose outlet. (have seen them in the casting, but no hole there) The only difference is the casting, as long as it was ordered for the boat, you should be OK. For got to ask, do you have a cabin heater in the boat?
