Q:install recirculating hot water pump?
not sure what you are building or designing, city water or well water or truck tanker delivered water, water boiler for heat is common or isolated with shared heat for hot drinking water or there is a separately heated water heater, inexpensive unlimited water or inexpensive gas or oil are all design factors for plumbing. add-on pumps can improve water pressure or shorten the time it takes to get hot water at the tap or shower.
Q:if water pump is working should lower rad hose to thermostat be hot, it is cool and spongy!?
get your vehicle up to operating temps and runs your hand along the core of the radiator from top to bottom. If it's cold at the bottom and hot at the top, it's plugged... Also I see where you bleed the system, might wanna check it again... air pockets are stubborn... Last but not least, have a C.O. test performed at a local radiator/automotive shop... This will tell you if you have a blown head gasket
Q:What is a water pump for?
Providing kinetic energy to increase the flow of liquid to an energy increasing device for required head and flow
Q:When did the pump start?
The promotion of water is very important to human life and production. There are various ancient water appliances, such as Egypt's chain pump (seventeenth Century BC), China shadoof (seventeenth Century BC), Burton (Eleventh Century BC) and water (first Century ad). The famous spiral rods invented by Archimedes in the third Century BC can lift water to a few meters in a steady and continuous way, and the principle is still used by modern screw pumps. In 200 BC, the ancient Greek fire pump craftsmen invented by Kurt Siby Lucius is a kind of piston pump has the most original, the main components of a typical piston pump piston pump, but only after the steam engine was developed rapidly.1840~1850 years, the United States invented Worthington pump cylinder and steam cylinder opposite, the direct impact of the piston pump, marking the formation of modern piston pumps. Nineteenth Century was the climax of the development of piston pumps, which were already used in a variety of machines, such as water presses. However, with the rapid increase in water demand, from 1920s, the piston pumps with low speed and large flow were gradually replaced by high-speed centrifugal pumps and rotary pumps. But in the field of high pressure and small flow, reciprocating pump still occupies the main position, especially diaphragm pump and plunger pump have their own advantages and are used more and more.
Q:2002 tahoe, antifreeze leaking from bottom of water pump?
your water weep hole is on bottom of water pump also.if its the water pump weep hole leaking.that signs of water pump shaft bearing is going bad.water pump needs replacing.
Q:how much does it cost to change a timing belt and water pump on my a car?
check the ads in a free paper like the LA weekly or SF guardian. they always seem to say when you should do it and what they charge. the water pump shouldnt be much extra (100?)since they are already doing the timing belt. call a mechanic you trust and ask them. If you do not have one then ask your friends who is good. the dealer will rip you off on price, it can easily cost double there would you rater pay someone inexperienced at the dealer $100 per hour or someone who has done it for 40 years $60 per hour and he does it faster anyways (so it costs less)(and they take pride in their work)(and they will replace other parts that need it for cheap and leave pieces that are still good because they know) The dealer might charge you for 6 hours because the book says that even if they only spend 4 doing it! a VERY rough guess would be 600+100 for water pump you do not need to replace timing belt very often. I am thinking 60,000 miles. look up in owners manual or shop manual for your car for replacement interval. good luck
Q:How do I know the pump pressure?
The "H=100M" in the parameter is the pressure index of the pump. "H" is the height of the head and the height of 100m. Since the 10M lift is approximately equal to 1Kg/cm2 pressure. Your pump is 10Kg/cm2 pressure.Q=18 M3/H, that is, 18 cubic meters of traffic per hour;H=100M, that is, rated head 100M, high head;P=4.0 KW, that is, the motor power is 4 kw.
Q:Oxygenator or water pump?
To be quite honest, they are roughly the same thing. For a small pond all you need is something to agitate the surface of the water. the carbon dioxide/oxygen exchange only occurs on the surface therefore a small fountain that agitates the surface would work, or a small air pump that causes bubbles. Both are just fine.
Q:my car overheated and i think it was something with the water pump, anyone now whats wrong and approx cost it?
1] ..i noticed the gas pedal wouldn't really work.. - This sounds to me you gave it gas, but the car was seizing up by excessive heat, because of no cooling!!. You might have fuck2ed up the engine, or the heads. DO NOT CRANK THE ENGINE, DO NOT MOVE it until you are sure there IS COOLANT, there is good oil and nothing is or looks bad. 2] ..there was not much water in the water pump. - It looks to me you would not notice the difference between a Water Pump and a piano, if you saw one. You cannot SEE the water inside the Water Pump. You probably meant RADIATOR. Fill it up with COOLANT, not just water. Coolant elevates the Temp and allows for a better engine performance. 3] Inspect for broken HOSES. There are two one at the bottom of the radiator, and one at the top of it. Inspect that there is coolant in the RESSERVOIRE bottle too. 4] When you are sure there is COOLANT, OIL and there are no broken HOSES,crank the engine and find out if THERE IS A LEAK. You will probably find one. 5] Check that the engine's BELTS are all intact and working. You could have a broken belt and - in that case - there would not be alternator, water pump, etc... If you don't find any, it means you drove WITHOUT COOLANT, and it that regard, you are irresponsible and should not be driving a car, but riding a donkey. Seriously. If you damaged the engine, it could cost you about $2000.00 to replace the heads, that if it is still possible to repair them and keep the car running. Otherwise, bye bye... Luck.
Q:How many HP of water pump is needed to pump water from ground level to a height of 50 feet?
It depends on your type of pump. Pumps delivering over 200 feet from bore well are usually multi-stage turbine type.
