Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

Q:how do I frame a large rug?
Look okorder.com/
Q:How to clean up the carpet?
With a little bit water on absorbing cotton mop stick, rolling......
Q:That is the best way to get the smell out of my carpet?
Use Fabbreeze in your carpet cleaner. Or some type of bio smell attacker. You want something that elemantes oders. But put the product if liquid in the carpet cleaner. and make sure you have a carpet cleaner not exstractor. The exstractor will only pull water out of your carpet where as a cleaner will clean the carpet and pull the water. You may have to pull the carpet up to let the pad under dry then spray the pad with your desmelling product. hope this helps.
Q:Haiku Rugs?
It's funny but I can't find one website that gives info on those rugs! I'll do some research and get back to you. I'm quite intriuged now.
Q:How to better manage the carpet warehouse?
It depends on what kind of carpet it is. Wool carpet is not suitably stored in cold and wet environment, and try not to put it in the sun. Because the moisture absorption of wool is relatively good, and the color fades fast in the sun. Try to keep the air circulation in the depositary. But one thing is sure that it needs to dry, ventilate, spray insect-resist agent.
Q:How much does it cost to professionally steam clean an area rug?
I'll go out on a limb here and guess that $440 is NOT high ... first, it's an Oriental ... second, you are in NYC. And ... it's a big rug! Oriental rugs need to be handled with the utmost care. I would call around to several places for price quotes. I don't actually have a point of reference, either ... but I'm betting that (in your area, at least) you'll find that the price you were given is well within ballpark range. Did you buy the rug new? If so, call the retailer and ask for a recommendation. You may be able to get a break on the price for a referral from the rug seller. If you bought the rug secondhand (or bought it mass-market ... or don't know where the rug originally came from) ... you're probably stuck paying top buck, but BE SURE to get the estimate in writing before you have any work done on the rug!
Q:Hardwood floors over carpet?
If it is a tight, level loop commercial grade carpet with very little give to it, you can install a snap together laminate floor over the carpet. If there is a wood subfloor under the carpet, you do not need a pad or anything under the laminate. If there is a concrete slab under the carpet, you should probably put down a moisture barrier under the laminate, such as a sheet of visquine. The really great thing about this type of floor, is that when you move, you can unsnap it, take it up, and take it with you to your next rental without doing any damage to the home. Laminate comes in a wood look and a tile look. The tile look is more expensive, but it looks great in kitchens. The wood look is marketed two ways: really cheap, fake looking stuff, and higher end laminate that really looks like and has some texture and graining like real wood. I highly recommend WilsonArt for endurance, but it costs more. Shaw laminate has some amazingly realistic looking styles for reasonable prices. If you buy an $0.89 per sq ft laminate, you will probably get some chips in it. Make sure you have some left over in case you need to do a repair (no matter which brand you buy.) Styles are discontinued regularly!
Q:Carpet cleaning question?
Definitely you can put peroxide, I'm not so sure about baking soda as it may be too thick and plug the machine, I guess it would depend on the mixture. Peroxide also is capable of bleaching a carpet and should be diluted to approximately 3%, and even at that it should be tested in an inconspicuous place first. hope that helps you , Good luck.
Q:Carpet cleaner residue stuck to my floot?
Use Quick 'n Brite (walmart has it) to completely remove the stain and then get an enzymatic cleaner at a pet store to completely remove the scent. Neither will do the job of the other, you need both. Carpet cleaner may get the stain out but the odor will still be there for your dog to detect and return to. Hopefully you don't have a light carpet because if you do, forget it, nothing works.
Q:Lowe's Carpet Installation?
My okorder.com and found a local guy with great reviews and we showed him what we wanted with samples, and he ordered it and placed it down, for about 1/2 of what the major store chains charged. No extra charge for removal. He did a wonderful job, and cleaned up after themselves. They also moved the furniture for us. :-)
