3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.
- Q:I have a large square area rug (12x16ish), it has different colored (brown, blue, burgundy, tan, etc.) squares all over it. It got left out side in the weather most of the winter. If I were to dry it out and clean it could I do anything to make it nicer? Like, could I paint it or something? I put it outside in the first place because it was starting to get thin in spots and some of it was faded. t had to be vacuumed all the time because it was like colored dry rotted thread dust was coming off of it. I was wondering if anyone could come up with some last resort ideas before I take it to the dump. I'm not really sure if it could be painted because its like carpet???? but is there a type of vacuum-able fabric or something I could glue to it or any ideas like that?
- sounds like the rug is pretty much worn out, I think the only thing you could do would be to make small door mats from the areas that are still somewhat in good shape and throw the rest away. Once a material has become so degraded as you describe, there is is no way to save it, plus it only makes cleaning and maintenance more difficult because it is constantly falling apart right under your feet.
- Q:Tattoo Ink out of carpet??How can I get Blue tattoo ink out of a green carpet and a grey carpet??
- Use hairspray but the kind in an aresol can and dab don't rub, keep using fresh paper towel, I've gotten pen and grease out of coats, carpet etc with it but the trick it to dab and keep using fresh paper towel. Also when you get to just a bit left scrub it with TSP Tri Sodium Phosphate worked for me with chinese red candle spill on my beige carpet, it was aa wool carpet worked really well, with candle paper towel and an iron, ink just paper towel and aresol hairspray. Good luck.

- Just regular hot tap water. Make sure that rug is sucked several times with vac to make sure carpets can dry. Make sure rooms are well vented to prevent molding and dry rot. Do not place any furniture on carpet tell it is dry. Make sure if you use a spot gard on carpet you get it all out the best you can for the chemicals can break down the carpet threads, fibers, and backing. To much soaking of carpet will cause the padding underneath to get wet and that takes forever to get dry so use caution. Go slow like directions saw, but don't soak. GL!!!

- a rug pad. If you mean those white, rubberish things that are a couple inches smaller than the rug and that at he rug sits on.
- Q:A large jar type candle fell over and a large amount of melted candel wax pouring all over the carpet, and it has hardened.
- Place paper towel over the wax that needs to be removed, then, run a medium-heated iron over the wax and it will be picked up by the paper towel. You'll need to do this quite a few times to get all of it up, but after you do, it'll look good as new :)

- There is no need to be composit bottom. If it is laid in front of the bed or marble. The composit bottom carpet is mainly used for the floor tile: Composit bottom means that add a layer of anti-skid plastic cloth to the back bottom of chenille.
