Q:Question about plastics in the environment...?
Did you know that todays people is becoming more plastic in the heart than ever before?
Q:how is plastic made???
plastic is the name for a lot compounds so i will thell you the way for the one compound i know.it´s PVC(polyvinylchloride). it is made from acetylene. first acetylene is reduced to ethylene by hydrogenation. HC(triple bond)CH -----H2/Pd---> H2C=CH2 and then one hydrogen atom is substituted by chlorine to get PVC H2C=CH2 + Cl2 -----> --(HC-CHCl)-- (the result is polymerisation)
Q:Will hypertufa stick to plastic?
Hypertufa will not stick to plastic. All I can think is to construct a cylinder of sturdy cardboard around the garbage can, a little higher and several inches wider. Put hypertufa into the space between the can and the cardboard. When dry, peel off the cardboard. you will have covered the plastic can with hypertufa, without it needing to stick.
Q:High strength rubber repairing agent
At present, more commonly used high strength rubber repair agent, mostly imported. Like some industrial and mining belts in the repair of broken belts, the choice of sk358 such a two-component rubber repair agent used, the effect is really better.
Q:Please help me.?
plastic liner means Wrap non- decorative wheels in adequately taped clear plastic liner.
Q:When plastic is recycled, is it actually melted and re-used to make more plastic bottles?
At times yes. but you can only recycle a plastic bottle no more than once. then they just even make more plastic which is harmful.
Q:method to make use of mixed plastic?
The reason the different types of plastic are segregated before recycling is that when melted together, they don't blend into a homogeneous mixture. In fact, after cooling back down, they will separate back into even - more - difficult - to - separate mixed plastic solids. All I can suggest is, since these materials are derived from petroleum, they can be burned for a pretty good amount of energy. The lone exceptions are the PVCs and similar plastics, which give off HCl gas when burned.
Q:If there were a shortage of plastic would we have to create synthetic plastic?
Remember in the 80's when there was suppose to be a denim shortage, so they raised the price of jeans to $60 and designer jeans became popular? But the denim never disappeared? It just cost more. Like gasoline? IF there ever was a plastic shortage, I would bet that another substance would take its place.
Q:Why are things made of plastic?
confusing point. do a search on bing and yahoo. this will help!
Q:What were the 90s braided plastic braclets & keychains made from?
Lanyards
