Q:What's the difference between D71X-16 and D71H-16 butterfly valves?
Model D71X model means this, D represents butterfly valve, 7 represents butterfly connection form for clip type connection, 1 represents straight through, and 16 represents pressure 16 kg pressure.X stands for sealing and soft sealing, and the sealing surface is usually nbr.H stands for metal hard sealing, usually 2Cr13 surfacing.D71X-16 butterfly valve featuresIts main features are:1 、 the design is novel, reasonable, unique structure, light weight, fast opening and closing.2 、 small operating torque, easy operation, labor-saving and smart.3. It can be installed and maintained conveniently in any position.4, seals can be replaced, sealing performance is reliable, to achieve two-way sealing, zero leakage.5, sealing materials aging resistance, corrosion resistance, long service life and so on.
Q:What is the medium flow rate when the centerline butterfly valve is fully open?
After inspection, the product certificate shall be attached to the factory.Butterfly: also known as butterfly valve, control valve has a simple structure, can be used for low pressure pipeline valve switching control is closed parts (disc or disc) is a disk, around the valve axis to achieve the opening and closing a valve, the valve can be used to control air, water, steam, all kinds of corrosive media, mud, oil, metals and radioactive liquid media and other types of fluid flow.
Q:Big block, solid lifter, valve clearances?
Because you apparently have a built engine here rather than a factory assembly which simply has solid lifters, and the data you have is either inconclusive or conflicting then I will recommend the following procedure: Assemble them cold and adjust to Intake .010 and exhaust .020. After firing up the engine, adjust the carb, if it is so equipped, to a smooth rich idle and run it in for a couple of hours mixing idling with moderate load and a few full throttle pulls through 2nd gear to seat the rings. Bring it back into the shop good and hot and set the valve clearances at .008 intake and .016 exhaust hot. After adjusting the valves readjust the idle to 700 RPM and set the timing. initially set the timing at about 2 degrees BTDC until you hav run in the engine, If you are without clear specifications for timing use a vacuum gauge and play with it between 2 and 10 degrees BTDC with the vacuum advance disconnected and plugged, you are looking for the highest vacuum at idle as a starting point. Run it hard including lugging it in high gear at around 2500 to 3500 rpm at or near full throttle, if you are getting spark knock back it down 2 degrees at a time until it does not knock when lugged. If you get no spark knock when lugging it you might try advancing the timing 2 degrees above the vacuum indicated optimal setting but do not go beyond that point. After setting the valves and timing readjust the carburetor to the best lean idle and set to 650 to 700 rpm depending on where it feels comfortable. In the old days a lot of this was done totally by ear - hence the term engineers. Today I think most holders of that revered title do not have a clue where the term came from.
Q:That industry uses most of the butterfly valve, and only use the butterfly valve, a large number of use of butterfly valve, seek expert advice!
I know there are automatic fire fighting systems and the oil industry.
Q:How does the pneumatic butterfly valve control the angle of opening?
This is really not good, control seems to be pneumatic defects, can only rely on the feeling
Q:What's the difference between an electric two position control valve and an electric butterfly valve?
Double switch electric butterfly valve, electric butterfly valve is usually said, namely the electric butterfly valve in the electronic case can achieve fully open or fully closed precise place to stop, not directly with the pipeline system flow feedback device for regulating the flow of accurate interaction.
Q:The difference between gate valve and butterfly valve, as well as cut-off valve, what are their applicable conditions? Advantages and disadvantages?
The gate valve is one of the simplest valves. Generally manual, most of the electric valve failure, as a manual. Butterfly valve is more, I saw the pneumatic butterfly valve, that is, with gas control closed, general and solenoid valve matching.
Q:Butterfly valve switch direction respectively?
If there is no arrow on the handwheel, the indicator on the turbine has been damaged, you can put your ear on the wall of the pipe, turn the handwheel, and through the sound of the pipe medium to determine the direction of the switch.
Q:Old Thompson Aircraft Engine Valve, help dating?
Wow Hannah! That's a cool find for sure! It appears to be possibly a valve for a radial aircraft engine as it looks very similar to ones i've seen used in Pratt+Whitney R3350's etc. It looks like it could probably date to the 1940's up thru the 1950's. Look for a Part Number stamped on the valve or on the box. After WW2 there were all kinds of manufacturers making parts for airplanes. Many were gobbled up by competitors, converted to manufacturing other products or went out of business altogether. However, a few did hang on....and I think this may be what has become of Thompson Aircraft today.... Thompson Aerospace, Inc 22431 Antonio Parkway B160-102 Rcho Sta Marg, CA 92688-2804
Q:Butterfly valve D71X-1.6C, DN50, there is no difference between C and no C? What do you mean by "concrete"?
The C indicates that the material is carbon steel and does not indicate cast iron (generally omitted)
