FAQ

Q: What's the difference with cyclonic to multi-cyclonic filtration system?

Multi-cyclonic is where the dust container has a plastic filter section inside and has many little tunnels in it that separate the finer dust and dirt for the next filter and there is no HEPA filter in the middle plastic filter section.

Cyclonic filtration is where there is a central HEPA filter that sits inside the dust container and catches the finer dust.

Q: My vacuum just stopped while I was using it! What do I do now?

All of our vacuum cleaners have been fitted with a thermal safety cut-off switch which activates to stop the motor from burning out. When it does that it will prevent the unit from turning on again until it has cooled sufficiently to reset, which is between 2 – 4 hrs. The most common reason for safety cut-off switch activated is the filters needs to be cleaned. Please read the instruction manual and follow the instructions on how to clean the filters.

Q:vacuum cleaners
whores suck too.
Q:What is the internal voltage and current in the US/Canada home appliances? The question is NOT quot;what is the input voltagebut what is the actual energy that makes the work - for example the power that drives the motor of a vacuum cleaner, or the power that makes your microwave work. I think, before the actual work is done, the current from the plug outlet is converted inside the device, and that converted energy is used to make the device work. So, what are the INTERNAL power/voltage/current of the following devices and are they AC or DC?: vacuum cleaner, microwave oven, fridge, and clothes dryer? What other devices are there that that have internal voltage/current of about 12-16 volts at 60-110 amperes, preferably at DC? Thank you.
Refrigerators and vacuum cleaners runoff 110 VAC internally though the refrigerator may also use a lower DC or AC voltage for control. A dryer uses 220 VAC internally. The microwave probably depends on the brand. I'm not sure what voltage the magnetron that makes the microwaves might use. The microwave, television, stereos and things like that probably use several voltages internally. It could be from 9 VDC to 48 VDC with different voltages at different points.
Q:Me and my boyfriend have quite long hair. Mine to my waist, his almost halfway down his back. Very thick. The problem is we always destroy vacuum cleaners, from all the hairs we shed. Any ideas for special vacuum cleaners, tips, etc?
Get a good quality vacuum, use it often enough so it doesn't have to handle a lot of hair at one time, and clean hair away from the rotating brush and belt often. Every vacuum there is will have the same problem of long hair gumming up the belt but a good one will handle it somewhat better. And I mean one that costs more than $200. You get what you pay for.
Q:I am a vacuum cleaner expert. I'm sure many folks know a little more as far as models and dates of manufacture, but that's easy research stuff. Not to put anyone down surely- in fact much of my books appeal would be accredited to the beautiful images of particular models and their history. Aside from your typical coffee table book styling, my book would go deeper into the actual function of vacuum cleaners. Sort of an investigative attempt to dispel myth from fact, or hype from reality. quot;BORING G G...quot;, you might say. Well maybe, but have you ever picked up a book that captured your attention simply because it was done well. Then later you found yourself flipping back in your mind about some detail you recalled from that book? Hey, everyone cleans their floor right? My desire to write an in depth book about vacuum cleaners might be well accepted. Who knows? If you have any suggestions or ideas that might help me with my outline for the book please let me know.
no i have instruct already
Q:i was wondering what kind of vacuum you have and if you like it or not...or if you know of any good ones with good suction for a good price.. thanks so much.
I like the dirt dog. Turn it on and leave and it cleans the floor. It is built to be tough to work in a garage so it doesn't break.
Q:please send a website link. if not an answer would do find
I've worked with all the major name brand vacuum cleaner manufacturers (Bissel, Eureka, Oreck, etc...) and the pigmented plastics are almost always ABS while the clear surfaces are acrylic (cheaper models) or polycarbonate which is very hard and durable, and of course expensive. ABS is easy to mold and is relatively fracture resistant, good qualities for this application. It is not clear in color which is why it is normally found pigmented. Polycarb can be molded in a transparent color (ie. tinted lenses for motorcylces) but because of its cost, is rarely heavily pigmented to a solid color
Q:Which vacuum cleaner moves easier for a person in a wheelchair? Are there controls that you have to use your feet for? How do they work in small rooms?
The new dyson dc24 with the ball is super duper light weight and easy to push and turn. I don't know anything about a shark. The dyson is nice because the hose is so easy to pop out, and it has a handle so one could easily clean crevices and corners. The switches are on the main part of the vacuum, right below the handle and above the canister. It would work very well in a small room because it is a small vacuum.
Q:I need a vacuum cleaner that can clean pet messes such as urine, but also clean human messes such as rice vegetables and dirt, I don't want a too heavy vacuum it has to be pretty light but powerful and from 60 to a little over a 100 dollars, thank you :)
Urine? You should not be cleaning up Urine with a regular vacuum, for that you should use a carpet cleaner or a shop vac Edit: So you're looking for something to pick up both wet and dry messes? In that price range the best you could do is a shop vac.
Q:are there any vacuum cleaners with the carpet shampooer built in?
I have a Kirby G10 that does both. You can also spray paint with it! Weird, huh?
Q:Hello,I am looking for best vacuum cleaner. I have both carpet hardwood floors in my home. Also a month old baby. Which ones are the best in terms of efficiency and low maintenance. whether it be the central vac, or the standard ? my budget is flexible as I know you get what you pay for. Thanks for your time.
Hello, I work for a vacuum shop and i would suggest a central vacuum system, if you can afford it. They are by far more efficient and the only vacuum that removes the dirt, dust, allergents etc completly from your home. Traditional vacuums, even the best ones will allow those things to recirculate back into the air. If a central vacuum is something you dont want to do, then i would suggest a Miele canister. Very lightweight, quiet, great filtration and easy to use. There a bit pricey, but worth it. German made, 7 year warranty and specific tools for bare floors and carpeting. Check ouy the source links to find out more. A lot of good information to research there.
