Bagless Vacuum Cleaners introduction

Bagless vacuum cleaner feature a removable dust storage container, which can be emptied into your refuse bin when full. This is a simple method of maintaining your vacuum cleaner and making sure it doesn't lose suction. The advantage of this bagless system over a bagged vacuum cleaner is that it is more environmentally friendly, and avoids the need to purchase dust bags, thus saving you money.

FAQ

Is it best to go for a more powerful vacuum cleaner?

The power of a vacuum cleaner’s motor is measured in Watts. The higher the Wattage the better it will clean, as long as the machine is well designed with good air flow and suction power too. However, the higher the wattage, the noisier the machine will be. With upright vacuum cleaners. you don’t need to have so much wattage or suction power as you do with a cylinder cleaner as the dirt has less distance to travel before it reaches the bag or dust container. The type of brushes are more of an important consideration with uprights than the power. You don’t always want to have a vacuum cleaner operating at full power for example, when cleaning upholstery or curtains, so it’s useful to be able to adjust the power level yourself.

Which attachments should I look out for?

Most vacuum cleaners come with three attachments, a crevice tool, upholstery and dusting brushes and a small head which is best for vacuuming stairs. You can also get additional turbo brushes which have their own motor for extra suction which are useful for cleaning deep-pile carpets or a power cleaning head which has electrically powered rotating brushes. A hard-floor or parquet brush is useful for wooden or tiled floors. Some cleaners have extendable tubes which are useful for hard to reach areas like cobwebs in the corners of ceilings.

I have a large house? What should I look out for?

Look for a cleaner with a large cleaning head – this will help cut down the amount of time it takes to vacuum a room. Also get as long a lead as you can get to cut down on the number of times you have to unplug the lead and plug it in again. You may also want to consider getting a model with a large capacity dust collector or bag so that you don’t have to empty it as frequently. If you have a lot of stairs, you may want to get a cylinder model with a long stretchy stair-cleaning hose.

Q:why vacuum cleaners are scary?
I don't find mine scary at all ? In fact i love plugging mine in and using it with ease My grandmother had a broom and had to sweep everyday To me that is Scary
Q:Not sure which brand I should bite the bullet on
I okorder , I called up because a buddy of mine actually told me he went into their store and got a discount and got $150 off for calling up. Had it the next day in CT at $949 flat. Definitely would recommend Miele though. Germans always make the best
Q:im 22 yrs old, dont like to work to work for ppl and i just want to be my own boss,is a vacuum cleaner business good?what do i need and how much will i invest?
why would you want to be in vacuum cleaners? they sale them everywhere
Q:Can you suggest me a good vacuum cleaner without any filters?I want a vacuum cleaner that has no filters so I don't have to buy any at all.Can you tell what brand of vacuum cleaner don't have filters so I could buy one that would be great if you help me out :)And please right down what type of vacuum cleaner do you use and what do you think is the best :)Thank you :)
I have a rainbow vacuum which uses water. I love it because it doesn't blow dirt right back into the air like other vacuums. You don't have to change any bags or filters. It's kinda like a high maintenance machine in the sense that you need to clean the basin after every vac. But that only boils down to an extra 2 or 3 min. after vacuuming. The average rainbow owner keeps it from 15-20 years. It is also a certified air cleaner, so a two-in-one deal. We buy nice furniture, nice houses, and big investments but some would rather protect their investments with a $50-$100 piece of equipment that doesn't get the job done. I choose to spend a little more for quality and longevity and for my health. Hope this helps. Check out the link, too!
Q:It's gross, but there is a ton of human hair and a bit of pet hair on our floors. We've used several different vacuums, but the hair wraps around the roller and it doesn't pick up anything. Can you recommend a vacuum that will not get tangled?
dyson are the best
Q:I have two carpet cleaners and wish to utilize both. It is easier to keep both extraction tanks separate as they are than to combine them somehow. I might go ahead and run them in series, but I'd like some ideas. Thanks
What? Your question makes no sense. If you have a carpet cleaner you just clean the carpet and that's that. I can't figure out what else you are trying to do.
Q:How would you rate the Rainbow vacuum cleaner? Please only responed if you have used it or own one. Thank you.
Works great - maybe the best. BUT...it is a big hassle! I love the ease and thoroughness of a Dyson ball! Easy to empty, you don't pull it around and it is always ready in a moment's notice! The Dyson does a wonderful job with greater ease. The cost is only a fraction of the Rainbow also. barb
Q:Can other cleaners be used in rug doctor cleaning vacuum?
I actually used bleach and water in a rug doctor machine. If you have a light colored carpet it works great. my water bed leaked and carpeting was soaked and smelled like mildew, traditional cleaners did nothing but the bleach water was glorious, carpeting looked great and mildew smell was gone.
Q:The answers seem to be ads for this company
I dunno. I like kirby myself
Q:It's not but two years old. Took it to a house with really old electrical outlets/wiring system, plugged it in and it ran. Turned it off, tried to turn it back on and it wouldn't turn on again. No electric box switches were tripped/turned off. Also tried it in outlets in all three rooms but it still didn't turn on. Fo vacuum cleaners have fuses the protect the motor? Any thoughts as to what's going on and/or what I can do (besides buy a new one)? Any advice appreciated.
Check the machine for a clog somewhere in the system then look for a reset switch. Some vacuums have a thermal switch that cuts out when the motor gets too hot.
