Q:Don't men vacuum too?: Who do you think makes the purchasing decision for the vacuum cleaner in most cases? Men are not really the target audience for those advertising dollars. It would be a very poor investment. I'm sure some women use power tools, too, but I have yet to see a Craftsman commercial for Mother's Day.

Q:I'm a guy who isn't extremely familiar with vacuum cleaners so maybe someone can help. I was running around the house with my Kenmore Progressive vacuum cleaner and I accidentally pushed the adjustable thingy that lets you set the height of the vacuum. This adjuster thing is about halfway down the silver tube. The second I touched it, the carpet cleaning part shut off so it's just sucking air. I pushed everything together as hard as I could trying to get it to come back on but with no luck. I had been vacuuming for quite a while. Do these things shut off when they get too hot and stay off until they cool? It seems kind of fishy that it died right when i touched the adjuster thing though. Any ideas?: Lol..I was going to say to reset it! You most likely lowered it to low and it turned itself off.

Q:Why do people keep running over a string a dozen times with their vacuum cleaner, then reach down, pick it up, examine it, then put it down to give the vacuum one more chance?: I fight this urge. I normally will pick it up and somehow hold it until I make a trip to dump the contents of the sweeper. But I have this urge to throw it down for the sweeper to pick up. Why I don't know.

She said it was recommended by a leading consumer magazine. It was priced around 150.00 and really cleans carpets. Q:everytime i turn my vacuum cleaner on ,my dog gos nuts starts barking and trys to bite it, ?? why they do that: Your dog is probably thinking oooh goody a toy play play play play!!!! he/she might also be thinking, Oh no that stupid and loud vacuum cleaner is on again, or What is that thing? Its invading my territory. What if it pees and marks its spot? aah!!!! I would suggest putting your dog outside when you vacuum. It wouldn't hurt your dogs ears as much (because he/she wouldn't hear it) And if your dog does have a territory in your home, and your dog is inside, don't vacuum so close to it unless your dog could really care aless or he/she is outside! Q:Where are DYSON vacuum cleaners made?: Germany, that's one of the reasons they cost so much. It's not necessarily that they are the best...they just have to get shipped a long way. When I bought my new house and I was picking out carpets the woman told me not to buy a Dyson. She said the suction is too hard and it tears the carpet up.

Q:I have been looking for homes to buy and I have never heard of this before. I am geussing that it is a vacuum that is centrally located in the house...not sure. Is that just stupid? Q:What Are The Best Quality Vacuums In The Market? ?: Don't get a Dsyon. Costs to much or is cheaply made. We brought ours home and true nearly sucked the carpet off the floor but has already broken once and (if you ask me) is losing suction. Buy an old Hoover, I mean an OLD Hoover. Those go forever and are dirt cheep.
