Q:This small to medium size SUV is located in Western NY so there will most likely be lots of freezing rain, and snow etc.Does anyone know of a all season , long lasting full set of 3 wiper blades. Driver front, Passenger front, and rear wiper as well. Or is it best to change the blades when the winter seasons begin and again when spring arrives ? Thank you all for all the information.

RainX Latitude wipers are extremely good quality for the money. However, any brand and model of wipers will only last so long. If you can get a set to last a full year you will be doing good. Simply swap them out when needed.

the alarm may be set on a high sensitivity. if you have the manual you may be able to adjust it, or other wise, look for a manual online, or take it back to the place it was installed.

Q:My Windshield Wipers Stopped Working On My CHerokee. Sometimes They Work And Sometimes They Dont. There Is A Clear Piece That Is Connected To The Black Fuse Box, And It Looks Like The Pins Are Corroded And One Is Broken. When I Put A 30 Fuse In It It WOrked FOr A Couple Days But it Stopped Working Again. Do You Think I Need That Clear Piece Replaced That Connects To The Wipers That I Put A 30 Fuse In?

your wiper motor has a short in it. The same thing happened to someone I know. Replace the wiper motor and the fuse box. This should help.

Q:my dad is buying a 1975 camaro, and it doesn‘t have wipers. i‘ve heard of people doing this to their car, but i‘m curious as to why.

Some do it to improve the look. They figure it is a show car and that they wont be driving it in the rain anyway. Many people trailer classic and custom cars, and would not consider taking them out if the weather was not very nice. Hope this helps.

Q:One wiper (the driver's side, of course) has stopped working all together. Everywhere I search, it tells me to check the fuses. Is it possible that the wipers have two different fuses??? I'm guessing it is not the motor since one wiper still works. I have also tried tightening the bolt that holds the arm on, but this didn't help. Any suggestions? I don't even know where to find the fuses. Any info will be greatly appreciated as it is Sunday and I doubt I will find anyone to fix it today. Also it is starting to snow so wipers are a must. Q:I have a 98 Pontiac Grand Prix. The fluid is not dispensing. There is plenty of fluid. The nozzles are not clogged. I changed the fuse. So I‘m thinking it‘s the pump. I searched the problem but could only find advice for several different cars, unfortunately not mine. I don‘t have a tester so I‘m taking a chance buying a new pump. I doubt they will give me a refund if that is not the problem.

If one of the lines is not broken and the pump isn't working can't you just remove the front brace and pull it out? I've never seen a headlight in the way of pulling out a washer tank. Go through the fender well.

Q:The wipers almost always turn on for between a few seconds and a few minutes whenever I use my turn signal (they are on the same lever) and they sometimes turn on randomly without turning. I have no control over it. They turn off whenever it feels like it.Its been doing it for about a year now, and I just can‘t handle how annoying it is any more. Faulty wiring in that lever? If so, can I replace the lever myself or do I need to take it to a shop?

Buy a kit to check ur coolant, is cheapStart from that point compareing to what it says Warm up the engine, idle with cap off for an hour or so add full strenght coolant. in case u r paranoic Ps: wiper fluid has alcohol in it. that's it Coolant is to:1 cool off 2: not to freeze; 3 to protect from rust 1. will evaporate eventually 2 alcohol does not freeze 3 alcohol is used to clean electonic boards (evaporates quick and will not make the electonic board rust)

Q:im having some trouble with my windshield wiperswhen i turn them on and back off the keep going and somtimes the stop in the middle of my windshield and my wiper fluid motor does not operate all the time eitherbut it dosent do it all the time, kinda like the delay or relay switch is bad or going out

gm had problem with this ther is a curcuit board in wiper motor take screws that hold cover on replace curcuit board by pulling board out problem solved
