Q:I'm changing from a white sink to a SS kitchen sink. The faucet is shiny chrome. The sink has more of a dull brushed finish. Should I get a new faucet or do you think it will look fine? Any answers appreciated, especially if you have done this yourself! :)

Chrome looks good with any sink. Matte finish hides water mineral spots, but, doesn't look as clean.

You can get the ring from any hardware store. However I recommend you just buy a variety pack with 10-20 different sizes. That will save you many trips back to the hardware store if one doesn't fit. Also check with friends to see if anyone has a couple of pipe wrenches you can borrow.

Q:We found an older (maybe 10-15 years) cast iron sink that is 48 inches long with two large basins and a small one in a junk trailer. It has 6 faucet holes drilled like this 0 0 0 on the back and we were wondering what all the holes 0 0 0 were for.

All I can think of is 3 for the faucet and hot and cold taps, one for a sprayer maybe, another for a soap dispenser maybe and the last one for filtered water. That's my guess anyway.
