The reason you need a fuse on the power cable is that if the power wire gets shorted to chassis metal, and you don't have a fuse near the battery, the wire will overheat. When it overheats, it will scorch or ignite anything next to it. Any wire connected to the battery, no matter how large, needs to have a properly rated fuse installed as close to the battery connection as possible.

power cables are with the power supply. Motherboards usually come with 2 or more sata data cables

I inspected the battery terminal and noticed their was corrosion on both terminals, cleaned it off, and I inspected the fuse in my positive wire for my amp and noticed the fuse was blown, replaced it and the amp would still not power on, I reinspected the fuse again and it had already blown, I replaced it once more and it did the same thing.

some were in your system the power wire running the amp is hitting ,ground and blowing the fuse,or your amp is crapped out.are the fuses in the amplifier blowing too.i would hook up another power to to amplifier out in the open and see if your having the same problem.if you do its the amplifier if its all good re run another power wire.with a distribution block and go bigger with the wire size,and you can down size the wire from the distribution block to the amplifier.hope this helps.

I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.

Q:Hi,I have this Corsair TX 750W PSU and one of the cable have 3 x4pins connectors on it. i use one of the 4pins connector on this cable to power 6 fans on my case and the other two 4pins connectors i use one to connect to two ssd drives and other connector to the IDE 1.5TB hdd. do you think that this single cable is under stress to power up all 9 items? is there rule about psu cable? i am asking this because i thought maybe the psu is affecting my gtx 670 sli performance. i get P11000 score and X5006 using 3dmark 11. so it is a bit low. i should get arouynd P16000+.i have i7 2600k @ 4.5ghz w HT and pc3200 16GB. i hope someone can point out the low score issue and power supply cable question.. i am currently running drivers 320.49

well in other psus if you take them apart all the different cables are all stuck into the same power out on the inside but i have never taken apart a modular corsair before so i couldn't say for sure but it wouldn't affect your 6 pins if there was any problems it would be between the hard drives and the fans not only that but between 6 fans and 2 hard drives your probably only using like 30-40watts of power through that cable which is nothing to a 750

Do not worry, no problem, the power cord can withstand the general high temperature, not recommended to use extension cord, the more joints more easily lead to some inexplicable problems.
