Q:I tried looking up the the model # and a couple of sites that would sell it but cant find any. Also the player is like 2 years old so hard to find anything about it.: 9v is what's called the 'nominal' value, or typical value. Input voltage can dip as much as 20% which would drop 9v down to 7.2v, but is still enough to operate. (If you only supplied a nominal 7.2v, and line voltage dipped 20%, you'd be left with only 5.8v trying to operate a 7.2v system. Not enough.) Basically, every electronic device contains a voltage regulator. Anything more than the minimum is shunted away, but if the input drops, then there is still enough to maintain the minimum voltage necessary to run. But you still need a nominal value higher than the minimum to make sure there's always plenty, no matter what happens.

Q:I looked on 3 of my friends plus mine and looked at the cord that comes from the big block power supply thing for the xbox 360 and every one of them looked differant. Why is that?: one of them are for a regular tv and the other is for hd. if you look at the top of the cord( where it gets pulged into the xbox) there is a switch that says tv and hd. if you pulg in tv and switch the switch to hd you will notice you can't see anything

You can also buy adapters that plug into your hard drive power supply connectors and then your SATA drives. But you could also buy a new power supply that has multiple SATA power connectors

What processor uses a 10 pin power connector? You did 'say' CPU! (Central Processing Unit) Or do you mean the 20 pin ATX Motherboard connector? (AMD's use no power to processor connector. Intel Pentium 4 and UP, use a four pin power connector, from the power supply to the motherboard. (Mobo) Edit: Low System Voltage will start with causing weird things to happen. Then the computer motherboard power headers,(Connectors), will burn up. I suggest you turn this computer off, un-plug it, and email me.
