Hi - the thing is if you like thick bedding then this bed is not really for you. Because as you say the only thing you can do is tuck your bedding between the footboard and the mattress and obviously to be able to do this you need quite thin bedding. So, you have two options - you either get thin bedding or get another style of bed. Personally, I am like you with the thick bedding with quilts/comforters etc - so, it is not a bed I would go with. There are so many different designs on the market that you could go for - why not have a look around to see what you can see and like better to enable you to have thicker bedding? I will try to have a look to see if I can see anything that you might like, but I have to go out now - so will come back on later :)

Hello, First realize that you can not keep her in her bed. She has to want to stay in her bed. With my 2 yr old twins we made a HUGE deal about their new big boy and big girl beds. I let them pick out a new bed toy and help design their new rooms. This seemed to help them understand that this is their room/bed and that they needed to figure out how to become comfortable in it. This helped my kids make the adjustment. They still get out of bed but they stay in their room and will get into their bed when they are tired. Most nights they go right to sleep. Good luck!

Q:a week ago, i got bites when i woke up, and i thought they were bed bugs or something. (prob like 7 in one area on my thigh). that week, my dog stayed at my house with me. then when he left my house, i washed my sheets and i didnt get any new bites. my dog is back with me this weekend, and just an hour ago, i caught a bug on my arm when i was on my bed which is kinda like an ant size, and it's black. i'm not sure if it's a bed bug or is it fleas from my dog. it is it either bed bugs or fleas, how many of them are there usually? and how do i get rid of them?

Bedbugs are beetlish in appearance, you would see them in the cracks of your bed. Fleas are tiny and jump quickly. Some people get flea bites more than others. Purchase a flea control from a veterinarian (Frontline, Revolution, Promeris), because they work the best and over the counter isn't worth the hastle/

Cat bed! My 11 lb mutt loves the cat bed I got her (and so do the cats). I think it was $10 at Walmart. Or, depending on the size of the dog, you could just get him a king-sized pillow. Those are usually around $10 too.
