Can be inside or outside rib

Rigorous calculation to meet full silo strength safety

Wind Ring

Hot Dip Galvanized

For additional support for higher wind areas, the wind ring is attached directly to the stiffeners. The rings strengthen the silo providing reinforcement against damaging wind.

Q:I have been invited as a guest of honor at the castle of Count Chocula...does anyone know his denomination?
This question is far too deep for me to contemplate an answer. I am in awe of your superior intellect.
Q:Geometry homework help-volume?
If diameter of silo is 16 feet it means that hemisphere radius is 8 feet. Therefore height of a cylindrical part is 50 - 8 = 42 (feet) Now you know everything: Volume of hemisphere and volume of cylinder, add them and voila! you have an answer!
Q:what type of metal are silos from about thirty to fifty years ago made of?
Copper was popular back then as it was corrosion-free and virtually maintenance-free. Gradually replaced by galvanised steel as the price of copper went up.
Q:Republicans: how much would you pay to make them go away?
If 'liberals' left the country, conservatives would turn it into a huge church with missile silos around every corner.
Q:influences inside and outside of business or functional silo visible what's the meaning of silo visible?
visible=you can see it silo=a tall building used for storing grain
Q:What do you think of this little rap?
Yours is good but I don't understand how a silo can hit you or how quid pro quo means don't touch your dough. Oh makes more sense as a missile silo and I knew what quid pro quo meant I just wasn't thinking of it in your terms, that also makes more sense. I'd give it a 7.5-8 now add some multi syllable rhymes to it.
Q:Question about hacking?
no to either of them lol... The only way you would be able to do it is if you had physical access to the closed loop systems that they use (so unless you are somehow inside a nuclear silo or in outer space, you cant hack them). hacking in the real world is vastly different from in movies lol just because its in a movie doesnt mean its possible in real life...
Q:2 math Questions Easy 10 points Help!?
1. It would not be full because if you add 1/3+1/2 it equals 5/6. first you find the common denominator. 3 and 2 so it's 6. so to change 3 into six, you multiply it by 2 and you need to do it for the top too so it turns out to be 2/6. then for 1/2, 2 need to be multiplied by 3 to make six so you do that to the top too so you get 3/6. then 2/6+3/6 is 5/6. you add them because you want to find out if all the grain will fit in one silo. there is 1/6 space left so it is not full yet. 2. justin read 2/12 or simplified: 1/6 of the book last night. so since he read 1/4 OF what he had left which is 2/3. you multiply 1/4 with 2/3. then you get the answer. 2/12, if it is simplified it is 1/6 since you divide the top and bottom by 2. hope this helps a bunch.
Q:Parakeets sharing food?
In an emergency recently when my father was hospitalised over a few days and then he passed away...........and 300 miles away...... I had to leave suddenly with no time to make arrangements for the birds and was away for four days. I have 400 show budgies. The aviaries were easy as they are huge and I was able to put a great deal of food and water in there. I had birds in breeding cages that I generally change their seed and water daily. I put large jar feeders ( silo style ) in the cages...........three sets and three sets of water drinkers. The birds did fine with that arrangement. There shouldnt be poop going in birds water......thats usually down to your perch arrangement or choice of drinker. So be very sure it cant get fouled in any way as that will kill them. If you can start now getting them used to new feeder and drinkers do so, as some budgies dont get it and go up to the seed dispensers and try and eat the seed through the sides. Some like the seed dispensers and work it out and others dont, so you may need to have both kinds. For every budgie you have .....have one food an water source for every day you are away. That means if you have 4 birds ............4 seed dispensers and four drinkers for every day you are away.........4 times 3 days for instance is 12 seed dispensers and 12 drinkers. That covers all bases food and water wise...............the only other thing is any accidents they can have while you are gone, like getting caught up on anything. You may have to remove any toys they can get stuck on. Think of the stupidest things a budgie can do and make it safer.
Q:Help with area in polar coordinates problem?
interesting. I am going to put the center of the silo at 0,0. This puts the spot where the silo meets the barn wall (and where the goat is tethered) at (10,0) the total length of the rope is 20 pi feet (equal to the circumference of the silo) now the goat wants to get to some spot and it stretches the tether as far as it can go. The cord wraps around the silo for some distance and then stretches out straight for some other distance. The length of rope in contact with the silo we will say is 10 t. The position of the point where the rope starts to lose contact is (10 cos t, 10 sin t) the remaining rope has length (20pi - 10t), and the position of the goat is at (10 cos t - (20pi - 10t) sin t, 10 sin t + (20pi-10 t) cos t) or x = 10 cos t - (20pi - 10t) sin t y = 10 sin t + (20pi-10 t) cos t area = integral of x dy/dt dt = integral of y dx/dt dt dy/dt = 10 cos t - (20pi - 10 t) sin t - 10 cos t = - (20pi - 10 t) sin t A = ∫ (10 cos t - (20pi - 10t) sin t)(10 t - 20pi) sin t dt t = 0 to 2pi ∫ -10(20pi-10t) sin t cos t + (20pi - 10t)^2 sin^2 t) dt lets do this in pieces ∫-10(20pi-10t) sin t cos t integrate by parts u = 20 pi - 10 t dv = sin t cos t du = -10 v = -1/4 cos 2t 10{(20 pi - 10 t) (1/4)cos 2t +10 ∫10/4 cos 2t dt} 10{(20 pi - 10 t) (1/4)cos 2t - 10/8 sin 2t | [0,2pi]} -50 pi ∫ (20pi - 10t)^2 sin^2 t) dt integrate by parts u = (20pi - 10t)^2 dv = sin^2 t du = -20(20pi - 10t) v = 1/2 (t - sin t cos t) 1/2 (t - sin t cos t)(20pi - 10t)^2 | [0,2pi] = 0 +∫10(20pi - 10t)(t-sin t cos t) dt = ∫-10(20pi - 10t) sin t cos t + 10(20pi - 10 t) t dt = -50 pi +100 pi t^2 - 100/3 t^3 -100 pi + 400 pi^2 - 800 / 3 pi^3 But the goat can't get into the silo... - 100 pi -200pi + 400 pi^2 - 800/3 pi^3
