Q:In my 97 Lincoln town car signature series I just bought, I turned the air suspension switch to off to see if it would do anything. It didn‘t, so I switched it back to on. Ever since then, the check air suspension light has been on on the dash. Nothing seems to be wrong, the rear is positioned normally so I don‘t see what the problem is? Do I just need to reset it? If I do, please explain how. I read in the owners manual that you need to switch the air suspension switch to off, then back on. Then turn the ignition to on, off, then on. Is this the right procedure? Or could something else be wrong? Thank you for your time.
To reset your trouble light in the dash, just remove the negitive battey cable for one minute. Then reconnect it. this is an old machnic trick when we could not fine the problem.

I would probably recommend a mid-sized pickup like a Dakota. A truck suspension is usually a little heavier-duty than most cars and they tend to be a little less demanding on the fuel than a full-sized truck/SUV also. Best of luck!
