- i would suggest bringing the speed down to maybe 2200 or 21 and putting a wet cloth near your work on your peice because first aluminum does not rust and second it gets hot fast! so yah put a wet cloth there and it will cool it off and stop the heat from radiating so much and or course just take it slow and wait a minute or two in between runs.
