FAQ

Q: What is the difference between CNBM and CMAX?

A: CNBM stands for China National Building Materials (Group) Corporation, which is established in 1984, is the largest state-owned group corporation of building material & machinery with a total asset of 15 billion USD and a staff of 100000.

CMAX is the brand name of CNBM Group’s construction products, C stands for China and Max stands for Maximum.

Q: What is the principal to quote the right tower crane to the client?

A: First, we need to know clients’ requirements. Normally the following information should be clarified by the client: max lifting capacity, height (height under hook), tip load and jib length.

Second, we need to know what the foundation requirement from the client is. (Fixed/undercarriage/ undercarriage with traveling system), mast section type (panel/integrated), power supply source (voltage, ampere and frequency), the distance between the machine and power supply……

Third if there are special needs, CNBM could suggest proposal according to clear data provided by the clients. End-user, as construction machinery buyer, knows the site situation well and should make decision, such as the machinery specification, type…….

Q: What about our tower crane's warranty?

A: Usually there is one-year quality warranty including main electronic parts (not including consumable parts). There are consumable spare parts together with whole machine and normally they are enough for one year.

Q: What is 3 main mechanism of the tower crane?

A: there are trolleying mechanism/ slewing mechanism/ hoisting mechanism.

Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q:White Crane Karate?
Same thing. White Crane in Japan is Karate. In China Kung Fu. Some variation in style though not a lot. One of the 5 animal styles.
Q:how to say no to my child who wants to keep a pet? crane fly.?
well seriosly just let him have 1 if he wants it i mean gawsh hes just a kid n he likes pets dont u?
Q:A crane uses 2 kW to raise a 100-kg box 20 meters. How much time does it take?
We start using by defining mechanical Power: = P=Work/time What is the work here? We lift the box a given distance. Work=mgh Since we know the power of the crane, we can simply plug in the values and solve for t: t=mgh/P This is only true if the crane has a constant power, which seems to be the case LeSmartOne
Q:calculating psf in regaurdto crawler cranes?
Not sure what you are asking exactly... Are you saying that you have a crane with a capacity of 100 tons and you want to know the pressure on the soil where the crane is positioned? In this case, you take the capacity (in pounds) plus the weight of the crane (in pounds) then divide their sum by the area of the tracks on the crane (in square feet). This will result in pounds per square foot or psf as you wrote above. These are example estimates, they may not be anywhere near the correct answer, this is simply how to do the calculation. Assumed Capacity 100 ton = 200,000 lbs. Assumed Weight 105 ton = 210,000 lbs. Assumed Area of Track = 200 square feet Note: 1 U.S. ton = 2,000 pounds = 2,000 lbs. 410,000 lbs / 200 square feet = 2,050 psf There's a start, now you just need to find out how much it actually weighs and how long and wide the tracks are to get the area of the track on the ground. I hope that answers the question you were asking.
Q:How do they get big cranes on top of high rise buildings?
they simply use the crane to build itself all the way up in sections . when its done the sections if they are in the middle our side become the elavador shafts
Q:Are there any special requirements for the installation of wall fittings of tower cranes?
The spacing along the height of the retaining wall piece must comply with the installation instructions for the tower crane;
Q:CAB BE CRANE BOOM EXTENDED AT 0 DEEGREE BOOM ANGLE?
I suppose Tadano is the manufacturer and they make several models most of which are safe at zero degrees with two sections extended. The weight of the extended cable and hook need to be added to the weight being lifted or lowered, so the allowable weight could be zero for a very long cable. Some safety factor is present, so you may choose to push your luck. A cable that breaks suddenly can whip around in a dangerous manner. If you bend the boom replacement will be very costly. If the boom was bent in a previous lift, it is much weaker than an unbent boom and the extending feature may jam. Neil
Q:What is the inspection certificate for tower cranes?
Inspection certificate of tower crane must have two certificates:1, the manufacturer issued its own "product quality certificate"2. The product quality supervision and inspection certificate issued by the Technical Supervision Bureau
Q:What do you do with a crane birds?
If your ducks are running loose and not in a wildlife proof pen, you are just asking for them to be harmed, harassed or eaten by just about anything. Keep your ducks in a safe place and you will not have a problem. ALL wild native birds are protected by law and definitely have more rights to be in nature than domesticated ducks do.
Q:How many overhead cranes in operation today?
There are so many overhead cranes in operation today in the US and around the world. They could be numbering in tens of thousands in industries and other operations. An overhead crane, commonly called a bridge crane, is a type of crane found in industrial environments. An overhead crane consists of parallel runways with a traveling bridge spanning the gap. A hoist, the lifting component of a crane, travels along the bridge. If the bridge is rigidly supported on two or more legs running on a fixed rail at ground level, the crane is called a gantry crane (USA, ASME B30 series) or a goliath crane (UK, BS 466). Unlike mobile or construction cranes, overhead cranes are typically used for either manufacturing or maintenance applications, where efficiency or downtime are critical factors. Have a pleasant day.
