FAQ of Tower Crane

Q: What kinds of tower crane are available now?

A: Four main categories: normal tower crane with cat head, internal climbing tower crane, top less tower crane and luffing tower crane.

Q: What kind of steel used for tower crane?

A: Normally, as for the main force bearing steel structure, Q345B is adopted; as for the assistance force bearing steel structure Q235B is adopted. All of the raw material is outsourced from qualified steel factory in China.

Q: Your tower crane is similar to Potain or Liebherr type?

A: We could develop any type of tower crane as per clients’ requirements if the clear information is provided. Originally, our tower crane design is based on Liebherr; but now, we not only introduced Potain design; but also developed special tower crane according to the market needs such as TC5013A with panel mast section. In addition, we also produce some models same as Potain original model, such as F0/23B, H3/36B and etc.

Q:I am kinda really sick of paper cranes, and I was wondering if there's any good method of making paper birds that look, well, like birds. I checked out the one website with instructions, but, well, look at it. I tried it.
I haven't made the other birds on this site but they have a pelican and an owl. I think the pelican looks a bit crane-ish but it may look different in reality. Have fun!
Q:What is the difference between Fujian White Crane Kung Fu and Wing Chun Kung Fu?
White Crane Kung Fu
Q:Cranes are normally used in construction in most countries. But I saw some photos that show Iranians are hanging criminals in pubic with cranes instead of gallows. Is it more painful to the dying criminals to the last moment?Do you know why?
they probably didn't have the proper arrangements to carry out the punishment so they used cranes instead of gallows. who knows? but weird really. and it wouldn't be more painful... err... the purpose is to snap the neck... ouch :(
Q:What is the scope of the installation and disassembly of self lifting tower cranes and the applicable range of the cost and the off-site transportation cost?
The installation and disassembly of the existing self rated tower crane, the first cost and the off-site transportation cost quota are divided by the lifting moment 1000kNm and 2000kNm of the jack up tower crane.
Q:I've always wondered, how do they lift cranes? Bigger cranes? What do you think/know?
They have a dragon.
Q:I was watching house m.d. When I notice house walking with a crane I asked a friend who knows house and has seen it but dosent remember why and how. why is he?
I dont know how, maybe polio, but he does have a disability.
Q:What do you do to become a crane operator, do you go to school and how long is it?
OK, first, what kind of crane? there are many different kinds that do many different things. From loading containers at the seaport to high rise buildings. One does not just go into cranes. The more experienced ones, started out as oilers or greasers. Some started out as signal persons. They learned by watching and listening. In the following states you must hold National certification: CA, HA,MT,OR,WA,MN,WV,NM,RI,NJ,NV,NY UT. PA and SC have restrictions now but will be added sometime soon. You can attend a crane school that prepares you for the national certification, but it expensive and not easy for someone without a background working around cranes. There is a lot of terminology and mathematics involved. Not to mention the Federal, state, local and OSHA rules you must practice. Go to your state employment office. They have all the information you need. get to know one of the counselors and pursue your dream. It is not as easy as it seems. But is it a well paying career. Good luck Bill
Q:It's got to be the most famous of all designs in the art.
Yes okorder
Q:determine the maximum load the crane can support in kg if the bending moment on the beam is not to exceed 5000 Nm and the shear force is not to exceed 3KN when the crane is positioned at mid span
figure shear first Let F be the max. crane load. for a simply supported symmetric load, the reactions at each end support will be half the total load. The reaction loads will also equal the shear load. 3000 N = (F + 150(9.8))/2 F = 4530 N The maximum bending moment will be the shear force times the moment arm of half the joist length 5000 Nm = [(F + 150(9.8))/2] N (2.0 m) 5000 = F + 150(9.8) F = 3530 N The bending moment max load is 1000 N less than the Shear max load so bending is the limiting factor The maximum load allowed is F = 3530 N 3530 / 9.8 = 360 kg As a form of exchange, please remember to vote a Best Answer from your results.
Q:Well I folded 100 or so cranes from cheap origami paper (red, yellow, green and blue) before I decided that I could fold 1000 cranes a reality. My dilemma is, do I keep the 100 cranes I did and fold 900 of them to fulfill my wish? Or if I discard the 100 cranes and fold 1000, will my wish be granted on the 900th crane? The reason I want to discard the 100 cranes is because it's for my wedding and the color placement of the old cranes isn't fitting at all.Yes I'm aware it's not scientific or realistic, but it's more of faith, I'm not dumb.
Consider what you would like your 100 cranes to mean. Attach strings to your 100 cranes and then hang them in a tree etc so that the wind may carry your prayers where they need to go. Then start again to create the 1000 paper cranes you want for your wedding. PS: The making of the paper cranes involves an act of faith, not the right colour to match your wedding plans. In Japan, the crane represents peace and healing. When we consider the famous Japanese art-form of paper folding (origami) the crane comes to mind before all else. Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes (1977), a non-fiction children’s book written by American author Eleanor Coerr, tells the story of young Sadako Sasaki who lived in Hiroshima at the time of the atomic bombing. Sadako developed leukaemia as a consequence, and lived out the remainder of her short life in a nursing home desperately trying to create one thousand paper cranes. Supposedly, if someone could make a thousand paper cranes his/her wish would come true. Sadako wanted to live. Sadly, she only managed to fold 644 cranes. After her death, friends and family folded the remainder, and buried her with the one thousand paper birds. Today, a statue of Sadako holding an enormous golden origami crane stands in the Hiroshima Peace Park. People regularly leave paper cranes. The plaque on the statue reads “This is our cry. This is our prayer. Peace on Earth.”
