Introduction:

Tower crane is used to lift, lower and horizontally move materials in construction and other industry. It has large lifting capacity and lifting height, wide moving range, and can rotate. It basically consists of base foundation, mast, slewing unit, working jib, counter jib, counterweight, hook, and operating cabin.

Features:

1. It has high working speed, good speed-adjusting performance, steady operation and high efficiency. Three-speed motor and mono-speed ratio decelerator are applied in the lifting struction, which enables heavy load low speed and light load high speed.
2. The range-change structure drives the dolly to change range on the horizontal arm, with good positioning performance. Planet gear decelerator is applied in the circumgyrating structure, together with moment-limiting hydraulic coupler, which can relize high load capacity, steady starting and reliable operation.
3. The crane has complete set of safety devices, which can guarantee the safe and high efficienct operation of the equipment. The machine is equipped with lifting height limiter, dolly range-change limiter, moment limiter, weight limiter, circumgyrating limiter, etc.
4. The operator's room is set independently on one side, with good vision field. It creates a good working environment for the operator.

Q:Use craned in a sentence.make it a exciting and cool.please make a awesome sentence.?
Craned In A Sentence
Q:My science teacher wants to know why cranes make work easier rather than just lifting an object yourself. She refers to the formula of force x distance. So i have to compare (in a way) the work of a human lifting an object and a crane lifting an object. Grrrr.... I hate this project!
The type of crane she is referring to ia a simple pole with a fulcrum placed between the person operating the crane, and the mass to be lifted. Imagine a weightless pole with a rope tied to one end attached to a mass of weight 224 lbs The pole is 9 feet long Let's say the human weighs 112 lbs, or half of what is to be lifted. Without a crane, it will be difficult to lift that much and swing it around. With the crane, though, let's look at the advantage when a fulcrum is placed under the pole and the person pushes down on the pole to lift the weight. First, note that gravity is in favor of the person to use their weight on the pole. Using physics, with the fulcrum place at x from the mass to be lifted, the downward force of the person is F*(9-x)=224*x or F=224*x/(9-x) now plug in some values for x and compute the force: x F 4.5 224 3.5 143 2.5 86 1.5 45 0.5 13 I started by placing the fulcrum exactly in the middle and then moving the fulcrum in increments of 1 foot closer to the weight to be lifted Notice that the more pole towards the person pressing down, the less force the person has to apply to lift the weight. Also, note that when the fulcrum is in the middle, the person must apply a downward force equal to the weight - which willl be difficult foir a person that weighs 112lbs. However, once the fulcrum is placed 2.5 ft from the weight, the person only need apply 86 lbs of downward pressure. Leverage. j
Q:what is that max torque it can with stand when the max laod it can handle is 811 N?i can NOT get this question, its driving me crazy!HELP????? thank you
The easy answer is that the applied torque is the cross product of the radial arm and the force, or in this case T = 811*17*cos(13.5). The hard (it's actually not that hard) answer will depend on the design and material properties of the crane. Since the problem asks for max torque, I'd find the bending stress due to the moment found above (T = 811*17*cos(13.5)) where bending stress = Ty/I. Next, compare this to the yield stress of the crane's material and an appropriate failure criterion.
Q:I just seen pics of a crane fly and not sure if I see crane flies in my house or mosquitos now. And do crane flies bite?
WTF?! That's a fly? I've been misled my whole life!
Q:He looked so out of his comfort zone at UFC 140. No support from either Silva or Seagal. Which brings me to another question. Why weren't those 2 by his side? Seagal or Silva are always at his side.Jones' height shouldn't be an issue. He should've at least tried to use it.
On the whole fight, Machida try to use the front kick (not crane kick) to the head against Jon Jones during first round, but due to reach differences, he is not able to hit him, and Jon Jones are keeping distance against Machida, because when Lyoto try to hit him, Jones simply slide back to avoid the strike. But, on all the bouts of Jon Jones, the only time I have seen him struggling against his opponent, is during the first round that he feel nervous, especially when Machida counter him by left punch while pushing him or kicking in the leg. Jones is lucky enough to hit Lyoto unexpectedly and choke him via technical guillotine, because if not, then I am expecting that Lyoto will win via decision. I am expecting that Lyoto Machida will go back in the octagon to fight somebody before arranging the rematch against Jon Jones. ......................................

Q:Before the Advent of the Railroad Steam Recovery Crane Car (pictures below), how were Locomotive Steam Engines recovered after a derailment from the 1830's to the 1890's?
Old Man Dirt is right. Block and tackle. Remember too those early engines weren't that heavy. The most common type from 1850 to the 1890s was the 4-4-0. They, and the other types were usually between 25 and 60 tons. I don't necessarily collect old rail photos, but I've seen many hundreds in other people's collections. And early locomotive salvage was usually block and tackle, with another engine brought in to furnish the muscle required. Since this could be a lengthy process if the wreck was extensive, a temporary track, or sometimes called a shoo-fly would be built to move trains past the derailment, or to enable getting another engine and hoisting equipment positioned.
Q:My husband and I will be going to the Crane Resort in Barbados for 3 nights in January. Just wondering, will we need to rent a car or is everything we need to see right there on the beach. Past Crane visitors or even Barbados civilians, please respond. Thanks :)
The okorder / If you only are focusing on relaxing at your resort/beach then renting a vehicle is not necessary.
