Introduction:
Tower crane is used to lift, lower and horizontally move materials in construction and other industry. It has large lifting capacity and lifting height, wide moving range, and can rotate. - is the 60 is the traveling distance or the span? if it is the span then this no way can be achieved or found, also 2500 tons is not logic for a single lift, you need to verify the design requirements. Usually crane span is related to structural frame spans, the lift has to be a practical one, which ranges from 1 ton to a 250 tons which is again very rare, majority traveling cranes are from 1 ton to 25 tons

- This depends on the angle of the lift and the distance away from centre of the crane. With the lift at tipping range all 400t will be distributed along the outer half of the pad or on the extreme legs. Rule of thumb is all the load is placed under the one pad. so one pad is 9 sq metres and the load is 400 tonnes so the bearing capacity must exceeds 400/9 tonnes per square metre. 44.44444t/m^2

- sorry, i haven't read any Crane short stories, but i'm a HUGE fan of his poetry. it's some of the most bleak, raw, yet honest poetry i've ever read.
