QTZ31.5(3808) FAQ

Q: What is tower crane?

A: Tower crane is a modern form of balance crane that consist of the same basic parts. Fixed to the ground on a concrete foundation (and sometimes attached to the sides of structures as well), tower cranes often give the best combination of height and lifting capacity and are used in the construction site.

Q: What is the meaning of the tower crane’s code?

A: Take TC5013 for example, the first two letters “TC” means Tower Crane, “50” means jib length is 50 meter, and the last two letter “13” means the tip load is :1.3 ton.

Q: Can you equip with light on tower crane jib, monitor, remote control and anemometer?

A: Sure. All of these could be provided with extra cost upon the clients’ requirements. But according to general practice, remote control is not suggested because most of the operator feedback operation in the cabin will provide a wide working view.

Q:what can lead tower crane to blank out?
(1) tower crane has crack; (2)Brake block friction lining wear up to 50% ofRaw material thickness ; (3)Brake wheel surface wear reaches 5mm ~ 2mm (4)Spring has plastic deformation; (5)Lever system, air travelis more than about 10% of its rated trip
Q:I don't really believe that the wish will be granted.Anyways I've really been into Origami and I remember reading in my Heroes book (slash the show) that a certain number of cranes means a wish. But before I start making all these cranes, I want to know if it's 100 or 1,000.So if you haven't gotten it in your head yet the question is:Is it 100 or 1,000 cranes to get a wish
1000 Cranes Wish
Q:What kind of force acting in the brake system which encounter the lifting material force and to maintain its level.
Cranes work using hydraulics and cables. The cables are wrapped around pulleys and the pulley is turned using hydraulic power. The brake system is simply stopping the pulley from turning by reducing power. The hydraulic system typically will turn a series of gears which in turn spins the pulley that the cable is wrapped around. It's different than a brake system say on a car where when you hit the brakes, pads squeeze on the interior of the wheel rim slowing it down. Cranes you just reduce power and stop the pulley from turning. They also have emergency stops. Older cranes have wedges that would be released onto the cable and then the wedges would grab the cable and slip into a ring. The narrow end of the wedges would slip into the ring first and then as the wedges increased in diameter the grip on the cable would get tighter and then stop the cable from moving. They also have systems on the pulleys to stop the pulley from spinning. They essentially work the same way as a car break. When the emergency brake is triggered, pads will squeeze on the rim of the pulley to stop it. These mechanisms work by friction. They could also have holes around the pulley and a steel pin would be pushed into one of the holes to stop it from spinning. Of course if the force of the weight exceeded the strength of the pin, it would shear.
Q:Where can I get the tower crane manufacturing permit?
This is the permit of the Bureau of quality supervision
Q:I am familiar with them, I have seen them before at my previous houses. But this is the first spring season for me in the house I am living in and they are absolutely everywhere. They stay right out side the house and they are all over the yard. I want to know if anyone knows any possible ways to rid them from the vicinity of our home. Thanks for the answers.
Crane okorder / Since Crane Flies are attracted to light, I'd suggest you purchase a Bug Light or Bug Zapper and hang it in your backyard. They're very effective in controlling other flying insects as well. Hope this information was useful and you'll control these pesky and damaging insects. Q:I was watching house m.d. When I notice house walking with a crane I asked a friend who knows house and has seen it but dosent remember why and how. why is he?
It's a cane not a crane. Whew! To summarize, what happened to House's leg was that there was muscle death of the leg. He should have had it amputated, but he didn't. Instead, he wound up with a nearly useless, and chronically painful leg. Stacy, as a participant in this demise, well, I guess the relationship was all downhill from there. House realizes it was all his fault. If he would have just got the amputation, he wouldn't have screwed it all up Stacy is his ex-wife.
Q:I have preliminary data: up to 2 tons of weight; work range of 40 meters; lifting torque 800KNm; lifting height 45m.. I encountered problems in the design, and some of its specific reference, I would like to ask here, for example, how much is the weight of its whole machine, how much is the balance weight, the balance of the radius of gyration? Super boom weight? (it's better to have the approximate weight of each component). And when I design this tower crane, is it necessary to use planetary gear for the gear reducer? Thanks to your advice, Liu is here to thank you
You made the tower crane. All manufacturers are not necessarily the same
Q:I don't like the crane stock because it looks funny but if you can see the wires when you use a PEQ box I'd prefer a crane stock
If you are looking towards a JG/Echo 1 model, choose the PEQ. The Jg's crane stocks are not compatable with any crane stock battery, however their PEQs are. Having a spare battery is important........ But, if you are not looking towards a JG, then it's up to you. Crane stocks have the balance of a battery in the rear, so your gun is not front heavy, but with PEQs you can see the wiring. If you are worried about damaging your wiring, tape it in electric tape.
Q:I was wondering how those guys/gals get up to their posts. Is there some type of elevator or do they climb up everyday? I'm talking about those big cranes on contruction sites. the huge ones.
There are ladders leading up there. Crane operators are fit enough to do the climb at least twice a day. I climbed cranes on weekends as a hobby photographer to take panoramic shots from that nice position up there. It was quite a climb to get up more than 200ft (60m)
Q:What is the load moment of a crane?
The load moment for a crane is a number measuring the weight of the load lifted times the distance between the mass and the centre of the crane's superstructure. For example, a 20 ton weight lifted at 5m away from the crane (in reality, right next to it!) gives us a load moment of 100 ton*m, the same as a 10 ton weight lifted 10m from the crane. Cranes can handle higher load moments closer to the crane, so really heavy lifts are always done from very close to the load.
