Q:Lifting tower crane tower more than 45 meters, the demolition cost and how to adjust the field Sinotrans transportation fees?
Self lifting tower crane tower 45 meters high to prevail, such as height of over 45 meters, each increased to 10 meters (less than 5 meters, excluding) demolition costs increase 20%, off-site transportation costs increased by 10%.
Q:why does the power company use helicopters to service the repair lines instead of trucks with tall cranes?
High-tension lines operate at hundreds of thousands, or millions, of volts. At this potential, electricity can jump through several feet of air to reach a path to ground. This pretty much rules out using trucks, because it would be prohibitively expensive or impossible to build a crane out of entirely non-conductive materials. A helicopter is electrically isolated from the ground, so it's less difficult to drop a technician off and let him hang from the line itself while working. (It is still necessary for the technician to use a wand to bring the helicopter to the line's potential before starting work, because of the capacitance of the helicopter's body.) They could of course use a truck to service the lines if the power was disconnected, but the cost of shutting down service to an entire region of the country exceeds the operating cost of a helicopter.
Q:what is that max torque it can with stand when the max laod it can handle is 811 N?i can NOT get this question, its driving me crazy!HELP????? thank you
I don't know if this is a question you got out of a book, or something you are trying to apply on a jobsite, but I would hate to see you try and use this approach with expensive equipment and innocent lives in the balance. Learn to use the crane charts. They account for many factors, including the weight of the boom, the tipping moment, the strength of the ropes, the engine's power, and the structural integrity of the boom.
Q:Jon and Paul are folding origami cranes. If Paul works alone he can fold 100 cranes in 5hours. together they can do the same job in 3 hours. how much time would it take for Jon to fold 100 cranes alone? Please show your work. :)
1/5 + 1/x = 1/3 == x = 15/2 = 7.5 h answer : 7.5 hours ++++++++++++++++++++
Q:I just made origami cranes and want to hang them up, each by themselves with just a peice of string....how should i go about doing this? how is it usually done?
TAke a needle threaded with a long piece of black thread, and make a small knot at end of long thread. Push the needle thru the middle of the crane's back and pull the thread all the way thru the hole till the knot catches. pull the needle off the loose end of the thread and make another knot on that end. take a push pin or thumb tack and push the pin thru the knot, then push the pin or tack into the ceiling. FYI, tape never works - I have tried. The black thread lets them flutter a bit, and is invisible most of the time. p.s. ask your parents if you can hang stuff from the ceiling first. they may not want you to do that since it will leave holes in the ceiling when you take them down.
Q:dimentions of crane rail, crane beam.
What kind of crane? There are thousands of types.
Q:we have a project starting that will require a stack built 1km high in the air?How will they install this?
Build form the top, when they build these huge cranes, they build the top section, lift that up and build the next section underneath it, set it down to release the lift off the top section and lower it to the second section. Lift those 2 sections from the bottom, build the third section underneath it, and so on. You need to lift securely, like on all 4 sides for stability, and that leaves the corners free to build the next section.
Q:If a friend folded a thousand paper cranes for you what would you think?
That they have too much time on their hands.
Q:If so, would you mind finding me a site that will teach me how to either with a good video or an easy-to-follow explanation because i tried many sites and i just cannot understand clearly enough. I get so far and then i can't tell what is happening in a step, and i can't do it.If you wouldn't mind to find me a site that you know will help, since you can make them, it would be greatly appreciated.Thanks.

Q:Could anyone tell me how they erect a construction crane.Some how they just are suddenly THERE, as If by magic.It seems as though the Boom part of the crane must be kind of JACKED up into place.That is the only way I can see them getting those GIANT concrete blocks into the back end of the boom. It doesn't seem possible otherwise. The only other thing I can thing of is the bulk of the pieces are brought in by helicoper and attached.Everything kind of makes sence except the Giant concrete blocks used as a counter weight. ALSO, if the blocks are needed to act as counterweigth to the CRANE itself..why doesn't the Crane fall over when it picks stuff up???
How do they erect the construction cranes? Not very well according to the news of them toppling down of late. Seriously, the cranes are lifted upward one or two floors at a time as the building progresses upward - this is usually accomplished by pulling them up into place with heavy cables and powered winches.
